Schmidt Memorials

We chose this company to repair a headstone and add some engraving and they did a terrific job. They were upfront about the wait time for them to get it done, great prices, and wonderful to work with. They aren’t the best at returning phone calls or emails but I found it best to check in when in the area every now and then and they were all very helpful in person.

They were very helpful in creating a memorial bench for my family. I would definitely recommend. Our only frustration was the lack communication. They would say they would call us back and it ended up being us calling them time and time again.

Even though the communication had something to be desired the end results turned out really good . The men were exceptional installing the headstone.

I had issues,in the past year, getting our stones in a timely manner also. We were not told the owner, Jim Schmidt is having serious health issues and an elderly gentleman is filling in for him. There is no one else to verify orders are being filled. The actual stones turned out beautiful and prices were the best around.

Like someone has posted before, the lack of communication was frustrating. I had to keep calling to inquire about the status of our order at 6 weeks, when I was told it would be ready. Only to be told I would receive a call back and never did.

Do not use this place!! They definitely do not know what they're doing! They definitely do not communicate with you. And it will take you months to get your headstone completed. We haven't even received ours yet and it's been 4 months since we ordered it. You have to keep calling them and they make excuse after excuse, saying it's going to be ready on a certain date, and never is. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY! ! still waiting! It's so sad when you're grieving and you want to get closure on getting the headstone on the grave site.

At first I was really happy with my son marker then the cemetery scratch it and they offer to replace it. They sent it to Schmidt where it was done Initially, well It took over a year for the replacement to be done. Apparently there machine was “broken” !!! Phone calls and emails went unanswered. I finally went in person and they finally fix there machine I guess. Once it was made I asked if they can add more of the white color. they said yes however It got installed and there was no changes made per my request. Ever since then it has started to fade and it’s faded. More emails more calls and still nothing has been done!!! I can’t even see his picture whatsoever now. This is so unacceptable!!!! I’ve called again gone in person sent the same emails and still nothing… Don’t waste your money here they don’t stand on their word!

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!! THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE YOU COULD EVER WORK WITH!!! DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL REGRET EVERYTHING!!!
