They have almost everything and most of the time more than box stores, pluse a plethora of knowledge to go along with the great customer service

First off, I must admit that I'm not exactly a home repair guru lol....but THANKFULLY the staff is so helpful! It's a great place to find exactly what you need when you find yourself repairing items within the home! I knew what I was searching for but didn't know the proper name of the items.....but by just a mere description, the staff knew! Thank you again for making my repairs so easy!!!!!!

So thankful we have a local hardware store! The staff is eager to help and offer professional advice. Lone Star also has products you will not find in the big box stores, at a competitive price.

They almost always have what I need. Yes, their prices may be a bit higher and the store is organized chaos. That said, their prices generally aren't high enough to justify a 10 mile drive to Lowe's or Home Depot (in opposite directions of one another). Additionally, if you need something, JUST ASK, they know where everything is. Lastly, they have a really good hardware selection, from the cheap stuff to decent quality stainless and Grade 8; even metric and some oddities.

I get personal service every time I visit. Lone Star Hardware has a better selection then most big box stores. If they don't happen to have what I need in stocks, they order it for me and in most cases, it's available the very next week.

Great customer service at this Hardware store...more than willing to help a Woman with bathroom parts needed.

The guys in there are very friendly and every time I go in there I usually am only looking for one or two items and if I asked them "where do you have this or that" not only do they tell me but they walk me back there and show me exactly where it is and their different options. They have almost anything you could possibly need. I had actually just bought a box of screws at Lowe's it was a 1 lb box for $9 plus tax. I went to the hardware store I found out that they sell loose screws at $4 a pound so I got 2 lb for less than the one pound I bought at Lowe's. they're actually cheaper in a lot of things than Lowe's or Home Depot but the exact same quality

Absolutely love stopping by here. When a random repair comes up and we need same-day delivery, we simply drive a few minutes and pick it up in person! Every employee is knowledgeable, helpful, and very easy to talk to. To make things even better, they even order us special parts if they don't happen to have them in store. Lone Star Hardware is a life saver!

These guys almost always have what I need and the knowledge to go with it. It's a small store but seems to have a little bit of everything. Saves time and gas money not having to go to back and forth to Corpus or Aransas. Very convenient.

Chris helped me out at Loanstar hardware. I had an unusual request and though they didn't have it, Chris named a few places that might and some options I could try myself. That's why I love this place. Good knowledgeable staff who's only mission is to get your situation or job Done. This is the absolute 1st time they didnt have what I needed but it was a specialty item to be fair. Thanks Chris for your help. Lonestar Hardware, better than the big stores and still big enough to meet your needs. From commercial jobs to do it yourself projects these guys got you covered!

ATTN: Portland locals! Please stop here before going to any of the large hardware chain stores! This is a locally owned business with friendly service and really good prices too. They personally cater to their customers. We always stop at Lone Star before hitting up Walmart, Home Depot, or Lowes.

Not as cheap as the big box stores, nor do they have the selection ( obviously) But it is local, and I've saved more on gas and time coming here so it justifies the little extra cost. Staff is friendly and answer all my questions, whether i call or go in person

Great little home town place to go for home projects, get about all the material one might need, employees great bunch to work with, so please don't need to shop out of town shop local.
