La Hacienda Del Amigo Mexican food

First time here. This is a hole-in-the-wall with a yummy home-cooked menu. Very cozy, neat, clean, and very friendly staff. It is a very small Mexican restaurant with authentic, delicious Mexican food. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero breakfast meal, and on top of that, they also served me chips and salsa.

This place is full of charm, the chef is a one man show and food is made to order so be patient, but it’s worth the wait. Steak tacos are so scrumptious, plenty of food to satisfy, and they are served with fluffy Mexican rice, beans, onion and tons of cilantro, just the way I like them! Salsa verde is clearly home made and perfect, not spicy. It’s a charming tiny spot to stop over when traveling, great place for truckers passing through. Take some to go with you, they hold up well. There is a giant truck parking lot just feet away from the restaurant, I think it’s a TA. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. We are definitely going back for more yummy tacos!

This is the best Mexican place in the US!!! Food is super homie, the atmosphere is super cozy like I am at my grandmas!!!

Los tacos de carne asada estubieron riquísimos!!! This is the true definition of a hole in the wall, authentic Mexican food restaurant. I absolutely recommend this place to feed your soul a belly 😊. The atmosphere was charming, and the service was phenomenal. There's something about being taken care of with a smile that makes what was already incredible over the top!

Been here 4 times now and have 0 complaints. The chef is a one man operation and it is a bit of a wait for your food but when he brings it out it’s fresh off the skillet and full of flavor! He’s been very nice every time to my family and I and the Fresca is delicious also.

I absolutely loved having lunch here. The atmosphere, the food and the service were amazing. Very traditional atmosphere so I felt like I was back home growing up even with the food.

I always order cheese and onion enchiladas with red sauce at every Mexican style restaurant I go to.
The red sauce Has to be hand made which made this different from any other I have had. Awesome flavor. And the salsa is awesome.

Went in wanting menudo but they didn't have any. I ask for a recommendation he recommended the chilaquiles cin huevo. The best fresh cooked. Going back for dinner.

Absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere. A must any time I pass through the area. The prices are very reasonable but be sure to bring cash.

I ordered a plate with Carne asada. I couldn't help but to notice that the chef had a meat slicer and I saw him fresh slicing the Carne asada. The smokey green salsa was delicious and seemed to be very fresh. Incredible chef running the place

If you truly want authentic Mexican food this is the place for you. Small, only 5 tables. Felt like we were guests in their home and the Grandmother was preparing her best dishes for us. Best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten. Will definitely be back when in the El Paso area.

First, the customer service here is great. Very friendly. Quite a small place but has a lot of charm. The food is incredible. Homemade refried beans, the salsa is amazing and the tacos are the BEST

This is IT, Ay Dios. This is those little spots you never forget. Not the food, not the people or the Authentic Charm, from Abuelos. All working hard to maintain what they have created. You’ll be back. No words can bundle it up. I live for these places that should be picked up and placed in a museum. Gracias Señor y Señora.

This is a little restaurant with phenomenal food. The salsa wasn’t spicy, but it had a very nice flavor. I had the carne asada tacos which were awesome. I’m a very picky eater and we eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one was definitely worth trying. If I’m back in this area I would definitely stop here again!!!

Came here for breakfast, had the fajitas with eggs, rice, and beans. It was amazing! The gentleman working was very nice. The food tasted great, especially the fajitas and the salsa, and even the presentation was fantastic. Really a hidden gem, you should definitely come find this place and try it.
