Arrived at 6:30PM. Better than expected considering it's at a truck stop. Freshly cook food seasoned to perfection & the servers were great. Very attentive and friendly. The establishment was clean with a welcoming atmosphere.. I would love to revisit & highly recommend.. Timing is everything..

Driving back to San Antonio, TX decided to stop and get breakfast. Haven't been here in 12 years. It was still as good as I remember it. The freshest and best breakfast I have had in awhile. Super clean place with great service. Looking forward to the next visit when we are back out this way.

Stopped for breakfast while they changed the oil in my truck. Ordered an omelette and the kids egg and bacon meal for my three year old. Both were well made and delicious. The service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. The price for the food was also a plus. I recommend this place especially for truck drivers staying overnight at the Petro.

I like what they did with the place. They put new tables and distribute the buffet better. The food is still great as always. The service is good and fast. The only down side is that every time I order steak they over cooked it. I order it medium and get it well done. Other than that the place has improved a lot.

This is a great small buffet.. Whenever I travel, I always look for the Iron Skillet to eat breakfast. It's a small buffet but they have plenty of options. My wife and i went there two days in a row because we like eating there so much. It's only 10 dollars per person. They have great food...

Has been updated since the last time we were here. Looks a lot better, with lots of TV'S.
Food is always fresh, we had the buffet this time & it was good as always. Our waiter was friendly & very accommodating. Salad bar had everything you could want. One reason I love eating here is the salad bar.

This place has always had great service when I've been there, and the food is consistently great. Sure there are places that you might get better food, but some of those places aren't consistent. Really great if you're on a road trip, and if you want some veggies, they do have a salad bar as part of the buffet

Good food. Seasoned green beans were fresh. Steak was cooked perfectly. Grilled chicken and sausage was hot and tasty. Everything on salad bar looked fresh. Chicken noodle soup had chunks of chicken in it . People were very nice and spoke very good English.

I love this place!! Breakfast buffet is delicious!! Salad is always fresh! Selection of buffet changes everyday! Menu items are also very good! Definetly a good place to eat if you are hungry. Staff is super friendly! I have no complaints and have been coming here all my life!

Love their buffet, prices are reasonable. Food is outstanding. Great Salad bar with lots of fruits, food is hot and very tasty. You got to try their desert bar, pies, cakes, ice cream, several different kinds. Place is extremely clean and staff very courteous.

We're traveling back home to San Antonio from Las Vegas. I'm so glad we stopped to eat here, the food was so delicious! I quickly checked to see if we had one in San Antonio and we do!! I can't wait to go back and try the other food. It was seasoned perfectly, tea was delicious, and chicken noodle soup was sooooo good!! It's good home cooking food!!

The buffet at the Iron Skillet is very fresh and tasty. The salads are really great. They had a variety of meats; like chicken, ribs, brisket, and they also have pastas. Their sides are good, too. You can also order from the menu. The price for the buffet is a little high, but if you have a friend to take you out to eat, hey, go for it. 😂

Iron skillet has always been one of my got to restaurant while I'm working for years. Wether In Effingham IL or Elpaso Tx the food is constant. Due to COVID-19 most establishments are not open and the ones that are have staffing issues. My visit to this location was great because the Texas Steer Burger was awesome the. The service was slow but understandable.

I normally dont order a steak from these small restaurants but was really wanted a cow,lol.So my husband and I ordered a steak
It was delicious. Hats off to the cook.Very well seasoned. Cooked just the way We both like r steaks.R server was alright,a younger kid.He kept forgetting everything bit it's cool it happens. Thanks Iron skillet for providing us with a good meal as we drive over the road and love to have a good cooked meal.

The buffet has home style classics and it's always hot. The breakfast buffet offers everything from bacon and eggs to pancakes and also (my personal favorite) biscuits and gravy. The waitresses are mostly friendly and hospitable and it's reasonably priced.
