DC Estate Winery

The ambiance of this winery with the combination of the fireplace is perfect! I was visiting the area and we stopped here for a midday break. We tried a few different wines (which I recommended 😋😝) and they even had slushes. I was definitely feeling wine fine by the time we left. It was moderately priced because we even purchased a few bottles before leaving. We went on a Friday and it was not packed which I could appreciate for a first timer. If you’re entertaining visitors you should definitely take them here. It’s out in the country so a cell phone signal is very limited.

This is a clean and modern place devoid of any real personality but it does have a great selection of pretty good wines, as well as a bare bones patio to enjoy them on. We got a couple bottles to take home and were pretty pleased with our selections.

Upon arrival we were definitely impressed. My wife and I frequent numerous wineries in the tri-state area and both were blown away by the establishment. As you pull into the driveway and pass under the archway you can't help but smile when you see the estate unfold before you. Rows of grape vines and beautifully maintained vast lawns ensconced the well positioned buildings for which are the winery and the banquet hall. As you enter the establishment there's a welcoming presence and a beautiful wine barrel mural on the wall. The staff were all quite nice and quick to answer any questions we had in regards to us making our wine selection for the tasting. We like sweet/fruit based wines and everything we tried was fantastic. My flight consisted of the cranberry wine, peach honey, and a desert wine named "Ed's Apple Frost.." They were all quite yummy and we chose to share a bottle of the Cranberry for which they put in a chiller for us to take outside. There's numerous places to sit, both inside and out, and even chairs close to the stream that runs through the grounds and there man made body of water that has a fountain in it as well. They also recommend bringing your own chairs if wanted and sitting anywhere we choose on the grounds. We were also delighted that they had a Greek based food truck there that day for which my wife and I ordered a Gyro sandwich for her and a Chicken based pita with cucumber sauce for myself. Both of our dinners were exceptional and paired nicely with our choice of wine. We both loved our time here and will definitely return again when the opportunity presents itself in the near future.

Drove past it a number of times, and finally stopped in to check it out. Really neat place with lots of varied outdoor seating. The wine was excellent. We had a sangria and a cranberry wine. Have a nice little giftshop area as well.

Stopped by for the first really warm day this spring. Sat outside by the creek sipping sangria. The wine was excellent and the scenery was beautiful. They have added a new feature, a breakfast themed brunch board on Saturday and Sunday. It is a collation of pastries, fruits, bacon and sausages.we are planning on trying it next time we go.

Nothing has changed except for my appreciation for the place. My wife and I spent part of a summer afternoon starting by the side of the creek sipping on wine. It was incredibly peaceful listening to the sounds of the bubbling creek and the songs of birds.

They added incredibly beautiful Christmas decorations. It was a wonderful experience drinking Sangria in the beautiful common area.

They have added a fondue that is excellent. They have their own fondue cheese recipe which is very tasty. They serve it with a variety of breads, fresh vegetables, fruits and meats.

They have added soft pretzels as an occasional treat. They are very good!

They have also added new outdoors chairs by the creek and pond.

They let me know that they will begin serving a mulled wine. I can't wait to try it. If it is as good as their fondue and regular wines it should be excellent!

This was our first stop of the day on our wine tasting tour. The people are very welcoming. They have a variety of wines to select from. This was our favorite stop of the day and love the cranberry wine. It will be great for Thanksgiving and Christms. Looking forward going back.

Liz was our wine coach. She is AWESOME! Tim and I both had a wine flight. You can also purchase full bottles of wine to enjoy while you are there and/or to take home. They also offer snacks to have with the wine. The restrooms are very clean. It was a wonderful time, and we will definitely go back.

Visited this time to try the wine slushies, they are VERY good! I've also been here previously for a tasting and the wine is quality. Tons of outdoor seating so it's great to go on a warm day and be able to socially distance. They do some events as well, they are posted to the Facebook page. Nice place!

We had such an amazing time here. All of their wines are so delicious and to enjoy it on such a beautiful property is such a win! Must stop when in Beloit!

I am the Owner of Moving N Grooving DJs and I played a wedding here this past weekend and WOW! This place is gorgeous! What a great venue! You have to see it in person.

The staff was amazing to work with. This place is a hidden gem.

The atmosphere is really nice. Lots of outdoor seating. The wine is very tasty. I am in no way a connoisseur but really enjoy all the whites and the wine slushies are amazing. Can't wait for all the summer events

My best friend got married here a couple weeks ago and everything about the ceremony and reception was beautiful. The drinks/slushies were great, the staff was accommodating, and the entire venue was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back

DC Estate Winery is a beautiful venue to not only visit but get married. We fell in love with it the minute we saw it. The venue is a perfect boutique, you have the entire place to yourself. The grounds are extremely well kept. We had a perfect 80 degree late October day so it made the day beyond perfect!

The real talent here is Tia; who is seriously hands down the most genuine, kind, helpful & talented wedding planner who makes everything go perfectly. Throughout the planning process to execution Tia knows exactly what she’s doing, she’s a true professional. Bride & grooms should have total confidence in her abilities & knowing your day will go seamless with her in your corner.

Tia does everything, from the set up/take down of tables, coordinating & contacting all vendors, etc. & helping with last minute “emergencies” or recommendations.

She is extremely reliable & easy to get in contact with; if it’s through planning pod or via email or text, she is there. The morning of the wedding, she even sent pictures to calm the “type A” personality of the bride.

Tia is a pro and with that comes her extensive knowledge, background & experience where she provides suggestions for vendors & coordinates wedding day timelines.

We were extremely pleased with our wedding at DC Estate, not only with the venue, people, atmosphere, ambience & wine but Tia really completes the full package. Thank you for making our day one to remember!

The staff was very friendly and polite and welcomed us for our first time there. Beautiful grounds and the atmosphere was amazing. There were many choices of amazing wine to choose from and they had a Taco Truck with good quality food. Great place to come and relax with friends. We will definitely be back for more wine and have a great time.

First time on June 25 th 2023 and it was absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to go back. The honey peach wine is the best.

Excellent experience. Good wine, not a sweet wine fine so there are enough good “not sweet” wines to enjoy. The young lady who did the tasting DID NOT, which sucked, felt it important enough to introduce herself, which sucked. Anyway she was very personably, enjoyable and knowledgeable.

Rockford DJ and Photo Booth has had the pleasure of working with them on several occasions. This venue is in our top 5 for stateline area! Elegant and classy as it gets. Highly recommend a Magic Mirror Photo Booth to put the cherry on top with this one.

Beautiful place! I'm here today with my girlfriends enjoying some delicious wine and snacking. Everything is excellent. From the grounds to the staff I have nothing bad to say about anything here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing outing. I will definitely be back! Thank you guys for everything and keep up the great work!

DC Estate Winery is a beautiful place to get married, and Tia is a wedding magician who makes everything go perfectly. Whether you’re working with her at DC or somewhere else, you should 1000000 percent hire her.

1. She knows what she’s doing. You can have confidence that everything will go smoothly if Tia’s there.

2. She does all the stuff you don’t want to do (set up/take down of tables, contacting all your other vendors the week of, etc.) She’s extremely reliable.

3. She’s easy to get in contact with - she’s very prompt at responding to emails and texts.

4. She has great suggestions for other vendors (caterers, florists, etc.). She also had great suggestions for our wedding day timeline.

5. She’s so professional, but also she’s just a great person.

Hire Tia and don’t look back. It’ll be a great life choice.
