Giving it a 5 for the memories! So glad this drive-in is still open. Saw Wall-E here years ago! Loved it so much that the marquis board is what I drew for the opening to my chapter Sand Mountain Daze covering life and times spent in Boaz. Wish I could stay for Maverick! Love ya Boaz!

Had such a blast watching Toy Story 4 on the big screen. The area was clean and being able to stream the audio to your car radio was very convenient! Bring your own snacks and drinks and it's only $15 a carload! Can't beat it!!!

First time I've been to a drive in. Good picture quality. Only issue I could really complain about is a hiss in the audio on screen 2 but I was able to adjust my radio to take some of it out. Overall we'll be adding it to our list of things to go do. Price was very reasonable also.

Absolutely loved this place. The people were very friendly and the food was great. Definitely going to be coming back regularly just for the peaceful night out. I normally hate going to the movie theatre so this is a wonderful option to see new things. Cannot wait to come back!

A wonderful and quaint family owned business!! It feels nostalgic even if you've never been before. Love it there and am happy to have a place like it so close to my hometown

The only type of theater I go to is the drive-in. Sand mountain twin drive-in has always been a wonderful place. You can sit in the comfort of your car or lay on a blanket with your family. They offer wonderful food and snacks. It is now under new management and they are some of the sweetest people. If you haven't been before it's time to visit.

I was SO excited to see the drive-in was still in business! My friends and I went here in my youth! I watched It:Chapter 2, and it was GREAT! It was easy to leave and I will definitely go back. 15$ a car load isn't bad at all.

We love the drive-in; geat price at $15 per carload for a double feature and they have a good selection of inexpensive concessions. The workers are always helpful and pleasant and the grounds are clean. Make sure to arrive early to get a good spot especially on opening nights.

Great place for families! Great food, prices are great, and you are able to bring in your own food if you want. You get to sit in your car and the movie plays right through your radio. If the weather is nice you can sit in chairs outside and watch the movie or the back of your truck! It's a great experience that isn't around much anymore. This drive in is opened year round. Weekends in the winter, 7 days a week in the summer!!

Had a blast. Not many Drive Inn's are left. I felt like part of my childhood had been returned to me. Snack bar food was good. The restrooms were very clean. I definitely will be going back soon.

We love coming here to the movies. We have for years with our kids. The price for 2 movies is unbeatable. The only drawback is the concessions are understaffed and it takes a long time...40 minutes...to get food. Other than that we love it. Just bring your own food and drinks would be my advice to anyone coming and enjoy your movies!

I love this place! we can take the whole family and see two movies for 15 dollars that is a price that cant be beat. The nachos are always a hit with my family. The popcorn is always fresh but the pizza is pretty terrible. I would recommend this place to anyone

Went on a rainy day for a double feature and still had a great time. The entry and concessions are reasonable when compared to a standard theater. Entry fee is $15 per car load. Concessions for a drink and popcorn were in the $6 range, but that was both large size. I'd go back for sure if I were local to the area!

We love it! So affordable! We have 3 kids and the price is so much better than taking them to the theater plus you get to watch 2 movies. Many times they will have 2 kids movies (G or PG rated) together. Highly recommended for families.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

It's beyond comprehension that we still, somewhere in this country have the opportunity to see a movie at a drive in. AND, they only charge $15 a carload.

We live 15 hours away, but ever since we discovered this little gem, we go out of our way to make any trip we can include a stop on movie night.

We have been when it was so cold that even tons of blankets and body heat were not enough. Had to crank up the truck to run the heat. We've been there when it was so hot that you would wonder why you even went (but never so hot as to leave early or not go). Lots of summer nights folks set up lawn chairs out in front of their cars. We've been when we got into town so late that all we saw was the last half of the last movie.... but we go.

I guess people don't understand that the days of the Drive In movie are an endangered species. There are only a handful left in the country. Being 58 I've had many experiences in a drive in :) but for my children and grandchildren it is experience unparalleled. Not only that, but they run NEW movies.. I implore you, if you haven't been, take a kid or two and try it out, I promise you won't be disappointed with the experience.

As far are the previous negative reviews, I can't say I understand them. We have been going to this establishment for over 2 years and have probably been at least 10 times. We have never been spoken to rudely, never even been looked at crossly. No one has ever hurried us, and one time we were the only car on side 2. Once we tried to get something at the snack bar and were told that they didn't open it during the winter (or something, maybe on weekdays) but whatever it was, they were very apologetic and polite. We do try not to linger in the parking lot as the second feature is over quite late during the summer. I'm sure they are tired, working for our entertainment.

Speaking of the snack bar. They have really good food which is not expensive at all when you realize they are cooking for a captive audience.

All that being said, our 14 year old daughter has the Sound Mountain Twin on speed dial. Anytime we're headed out, she's checking the current showings :) Gotta say, it has to be something pretty impressive to warrant a 14 year old wanting to go anywhere with their parents!

Every time we drive away, I'm afraid it will be the last time. Very few Drive Ins left, and what few there are, are closing at an alarming rate. I'm thankful that we found this one and hope if you reading this and are able, you too will find the pleasure an "old time family entertainment" can bring.

I love this place. Its a great way to spend some time with the family and NOT breaking the wallet....which i have to add, there are not a whole lot of places for kids that offer that. $15 i mean come on! They offer consessions which are reasonably priced (like nachos,a whole pizza, chicken tenders...good food) so dont feel bad if u dont have the space in the car or the time before your film comes on. Plus, the website and number is updated weekly...along with the movies. You cant go wrong!!!

We always enjoy the drive in. Most movies are $15 per car load, AND double feature. Yes, you get to watch 2 movies for the price of one. This is a place we really enjoy going to relax. They also have pizza and many food items you can purchase at the concession stand.

Very kind staff. Everything was clean. We had a great time. More people should visit soon if you're bored and need something to do. Don't let the drive in die.
