What a people person!!! You always hear how unkind and ruthless a Judge can be. Well praise God we have Judge Luján, who is a knowledgeable, understanding and kind people person.

No Problems. I’ve called a few times with questions and the phone has always been answered. The Judge’s staff has always been friendly and helpful.

When I searched judge lujan it gave me “Honorable Ruben Lujan” what I saw today in court was far from honorable I just saw a judge speaking to grown ups as if they were children! And not to mention asking the children to tell there parents if they don’t speak English to go ahead and translate for him what he says excuse me judge how professional is this and to top it off and I quote “I don’t want to offend anyone but you are in this country you should learn how to speak English” this is exactly what judge lujan told the parents! He did not let me speak when it was my turn he only fined me and be on my marry way! Lujan is a disgrace to his title of “honorable judge” he has no humanity whatsoever! And this scares me for a person like him to have a seat in a court room that only takes care of minor cases and the power this man thinks he has imagine if he was a judge of higher court that would be a nightmare to say the least!

He gives a half hour lecture on respect, and then turns around and is disrespecting ALL of the community in the courtroom! I asked “may I adress the court, you’re honer?” He says “yes” I start to make my statement looking at him, he yells out, “ why are you telling me this, I’m blocking you out! Next case” 😵‍💫😡 I was so confused. He is not only biased but is NOT AT ALL helpful to the community here in Clint tx. He belittles almost EVERYONE who stands in front to make a statement, and praises people who take the “no content” plea. Almost nodding with his head implying good choice. He definitely doesn’t make any fair judgements, or even care to RESPECTFULY and EDUCATEDLY LISTEN (what he preached about for a half hour). I’m amazed and sadden that people are all allowing this to continue. He not only acts out unethically in the court room, by yelling out disrespectful comments to the public! He randomly gets up and answers phone calls and walks in laughing and talking about it. May more people stand up for their rights and vocalize thier righteousness thoughts. Humans like this man SHOULD NEVER BE BEHIND ANY DESK ! Making life decisions for community’s. Clint is a small town that almost everyone knows each other. Life happens AND it DOES happen to ALL of us from time to time. Vote him out, speak your mind don’t be afraid of who he knows . He even says “if you don’t like it go complain “ LETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The place is pathetic!!! There's no justice in the manner in which business is conducted. Judge Lujan always initiates court session by stating that it's not him, that it's the county that wants its money. What? He opens by indirectly announcing that he's there to collect for the county. Please!! The borderland is considered low income, poverty-stricken and folks having to pay two, three hundred dollars in fines and court fees, in many cases even six sometimes eight hundred dollars, is absurd. In 98% of the cases that are heard in front of Judge Lujan, he will side with the officer who issued the citation. In many cases, it's overtly obvious that the matter should be dismissed for violations of a constitutional dimension. Folks need to be aware that a trial by jury is afforded if the accused asks that the matter be heard in front of a jury and not a bench trial where the Judge acts like the emperor.

No one answers the phone, ever, it's as if they do not care. Today alone, during their hours of operation, I called them 8 times (not including calls I made on other days) and no one answered. I even checked google to see if the bulding was open and it was listed as open. When I went to the building it was closed so what do the office hours even mean?
Overall, horrible service.

Judge is not a kind person he didn’t even hear us, he showed favoritism, what an awful judge
