My wife has been having heart complications recently and we have been here in the ER twice in 3 months.
Both times the staff were polite and accommodating. The phlebotomists are excellent, and the doctors are kind.
However, the ladies at the front desk who checked us in could DEFINITELY be nicer and more concerned when someone is about to die or thinks they are due to heart complications. You ladies forced me to take further action and I darn sure have the time to do so. I won't even give a bad rating. I think ya need some remedial training though. Maybe ya need fired, either way; DO BETTER when checking in PATIENTS or get a new job.
Easy peasy

This local small town hospital amazes me. My grandmother was certain near the end and the staff they have here was prompt and did everything they could and saved her. They are real genuine people, the building may be a little out of date but dont let that fool you. Now granted you will see the occasional tweaker around trying for drugs. Not this hospital though, they have there number.

I recently had a procedure there, everyone was professional and very courteous. I could not have asked for a better group of nursing staff to care for me. The lady at outpatient registration was also very courteous and professional. I hope they see this review, so they know. I wish I could give 10 stars. Thank you all!

Wow is all I can say! My surgeon does his surgeries at this facility. I’d never been to this facility so was a little skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m an RN and a nursing instructor so have a tendency to critique everything. Don’t let small facilities deceive you! From the moment I walked into registration until I received discharge paperwork, I was treated with top notch kindness and respect. I spent the night in Room 114 and the nurses on that floor provided exceptional patient care. Karrington, Matt and Ginny are the 3 nurses I remember. Thanks for such a wonderful experience. I will be recommending this facility to family and friends.

I had never been to this facility before but the surgeon doing my surgery was practicing there instead of the well known larger hospitals in the area so I had my reservations but i was pleasantly surprised and honestly shocked at the treatment I received at the facility. All of the staff from the bottom to the top treated me like a actual person and not just a number and patient care was top notch . the larger hospitals could take lessons from this facility how well they treat there patients. Very satisfied with the hospital and all the employees I encountered during my visit .

Plateau Medical Center Physical Therapy is absolutely the best all around treatment for anyone needing to get back to normal activities. They are very professional, knowledgeable in the proper treatment you need to achieve your goals. They over see all of your daily workouts and see that it doesn’t cause any side effects to you in any way. They care very much about your well being while you are there. The whole staff is “Top Shelf” they cannot be beat.

Each staff member I encountered was kind, patient, and attentive. Every person took the time to make me feel comfortable before, during, and after my surgery, and honestly, most went out of their way. Dr. Short was stellar. I would recommend PMC to anyone!

I was in extreme pain and very sick when I presented myself to the Emergency Department late on a Saturday night. I was promptly met at the door of my vehicle by a nurse with a wheelchair who happened to see me as she was returning from break. It was a very cold night and snow was blowing, but she patiently waited for me as I slowly made my way out of the car to the chair.

I was quickly registered, vitals taken, and triaged by another nurse. I did have a bit of a wait, which I expected, but was monitored by staff during that time. I appreciated the attention as I was feeling so poorly.

Once I was taken back to be seen by the doctor, it was not obvious as to what was going on with me. At first look, the doctor told me that I had a superficial skin infection and would need an oral antibiotic. I explained that I had been to my PCP the day before who assumed the same diagnosis but that I had only become more nauseous and the pain was even more intense.

Instead of treating me like a "seeker" of pain medication, as I had feared, he ordered an abdominal CAT Scan to see if he was missing anything. Indeed, the test revealed two pelvic abscesses that, had I not been treated quickly, would have caused sepsis.

I was admitted that night, to a private room, where I was treated for the infection that had caused me such severe pain and nausea; but not only that, I was greeted warmly by a very attentive and caring staff that made me as comfortable as possible in my anxious state.

I was inpatient from Saturday night to Tuesday night, until I had to be transported to another facility for surgery the following day. During my stay, I was visited by several different staff from administration to kitchen. Each one asking about everything from how the clinical staff was doing concerning my medical care, to my opinion on the food I had been served. Honestly, I had no complaints!

I was immensely troubled when I realized I needed a trip to the hospital, but I was also concerned when I heard that I had to be transported to another facility, because I had felt that I had been spoiled during my experience at Plateau Medical and knew that no one else could meet that standard of care.

Many thanks to everyone that I had the pleasure of meeting. I could never say enough great things about you all!

My nurse was very attentive to my needs. She got my IV in on the first try and had no problems and no bleeding and no pain. The other nurse that was on duty helped out with me also. The room was clean and they changed their PPE during the whole procedure ea h time it was required. Great experience!

My husband John Janney was admitted at PMC. From ER then being treated on the first floor the care was excellent. They were constantly checking on him and responded quickly when needed. Dr Keffer, Dr Conley and Dr. Polisetty treated him and were great. Excellent care from the nurses that provided care for him. Dietary and housekeeping also provided excellent service. I always recommend PMC to my friends and customers. It’s nice to have a hospital right in our city that provides 5 star care.

Pm this was my first visit to the OR, and I found it to very clean and very busy. But the care I got was very good and I got my questions answer when I ask them. Every thing went as plan. So I thank the people who took care of me while I was there. Job will done, no after effects.

I was so sick and the nurse that did my antibody infusion was so wonderful! She was so nice and bubbly and definitely made me feel better just by being so kind! I can’t stress enough how good it makes you feel when a nurse is that kind to you. It really makes a world of a difference! I think her name was Jessie. And she definitely deserves somekind of recognition! I wish all nurses treated their patients the way she did me! It’s the worst feeling to feel like your a burden to nurses and a bother. And she went out of her way to make feel like she was glad to take care of me!

This morning I passed out twice resulting in a fall. My parents rushed me to PMC and I was triaged immediately by a knowledgeable polite nurse named Luigi. We were taken to a room and met Dr. Lares. He explained all the tests he would be ordering and answered all of our questions. You would have never known we were coming in right before shift change. They all spent quality time with us. We never felt “rushed through”. While in radiology Morgan made me feel at ease when I was nervous. I had two rounds of bloodwork and both of the girls were amazing getting a vein first try. The lady that did my EKG was friendly and respected my privacy by assuring the curtain was pulled. A nurse named Lee came and hooked my IV up and did great getting it in my arm. I had an abdominal ultrasound by Stacie. She showed me that my baby was doing fine and moving all around. At shift change I got a new nurse Tomara who took excellent care of me, even provided me with two blankets from the warmer. Dr. Nanda took over my care at shift change. He checked on me several times updating me on results as they came in. Both Tomara and Dr. Nanda shared personal stories to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Everyone that walked by the door, from housekeeping, registration, to the CEO, asked if we needed anything while we waiting for results. I want to thank the staff at PMC for providing me 5 star care!

The staff is very friendly and informative. The surgeon, Dr Yancey Short is one of the best that you can find any where, hands down!! Overall I found the center to be very clean, which is one of the first things I look for. They all are very professional and I have and will continue recommending them.
