Best breakfast in Fairmont! Love coming here for breakfast. Locally owned and very popular restaurant since 1958. Love the omelets with spicy demus sausage. Love that the use locally raised meat. Also the toast is amazing- many different kinds of bread choices. Place gets busy so you should get here early or there may be a wait. If your in the Fairmont area or just passing through- make sure you stop here. They are also open for lunch. Only downside would be parking- can be hard to find a space since parking is limited. Also they only accept cash so keep that in mind.

This place is always fantastic! The waitresses are so sweet and the food is always delicious! We have went as a group of two and we have had as many as eight people and they never get anything wrong. We have never had to send anything back. Their rye bread and the homemade raisin bread are fantastic! I love that they have fresh cut fries! Salads are delicious as is the steak sandwich but eight times out of 10 we get a sampler for breakfast which leaves you filled for a great price! Highly recommend!

Great food and company! They treat you like family. A local place that is well- known and if you get to go, you'll know why! It's always busy, but there's a table for you. The food comes out hot and fast. I highly recommend- especially for breakfast!

Ate here a couple months back. The place may look like a bit of a dump on the surface, but trust me, it's not. Nothing mind-blowing, but a solid diner with tasty homestyle cooking, more-than-adequate portions, and friendly staff. Would recommend if you're in the area!

My husband loved his breakfast of bacon, eggs, and toast with a side of grits. I have to be gluten free and got a veggie omelet. It was LOADED with vegetables and may be the best omelet I've ever had. The staff was careful to avoid any cross contamination. Our waitress was sweet, helpful and overall fantastic!

Excellent family owned lunch and breakfast spot, across the street from Fairmont State. Omletes pancakes and burgers are so good, a must visit every time I am in Fairmont.

The place is always immaculate. It literally is home cooking. The staff is always friendly. You can't go wrong going here.

What a quaint little diner. I am vegan and I was surprised they had vegan oatmeal, I ordered it with a side of brown sugar and blueberries, along with some tea. Very affordable and filling, perfect for a breakfast after church :)

Wonderful people and wonderful food. When you go in you really are like family. I was a customer for years before working there for a few years in college. The staff are so sweet and the customers that come in even semi regularly become family to the staff. One of the cooks is the owner and he takes special care in making sure every single piece of food that goes out is of excellent quality. And once a year on Saint Patrick's Day they do the corn beef and cabbage meal for the roots of the families Irish heritage that owns and runs the business.

This is a fantastic breakfast diner. My boyfriend got the meat lovers omelet and said it was the best omelet he ever had. I got the burrito and it was delicious. Service is a little slow but that is to be expected in a small town restaurant. Overall service was excellent with friendly staff and they even offered a Togo coffee which we gladly accepted. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Great local place...crowded...because the food and service are so good! I had a breakfast burrito.. it was huge, toasty and delicious! Lots of menu choices...home made soups...yum! I'll be back...thanks for a great Sunday breakfast!

I'm from out of town & had a lot of options for breakfast. Glad to have come here! Delicious food & homemade bread! Coffee was tasty and had the best chocolate shake. Food here more affordable than my state.

I've been there a few times now the Reuben is absolutely delicious and it is a good size. I've also had the sausage gravy and biscuits they are absolutely delicious and very good portion size I've had their deep fried breaded mushrooms also delightful and a good-sized portion. From what I can tell all the food is a great quality and good size portions. The wait staff is also wonderful and kind. One thing to note it is a cash only place so you better have your cash on hand it is also self- seating and when you're done you pay at the register their menu is also quite extensive

Very friendly atmosphere, staff and clientele both. Had a great omelette and the tomato slices were as if I picked it fresh out of my garden. You won't regret coming here!

By far the best place to get breakfast in Fairmont. Being close to FSU campus and all they regulars they get everyday they can get pretty busy. I promise it’s worth the wait!!

Always a fair price for a good meal. Nothing better than a nice Demus sausage omelette for a filling breakfast. And the price is always fair for what you get.

Seriously, this is a gem in Fairmont that you have to go to at least once. The staff is courteous, and prompt, not to mention the environment is full of blue and gold, as well as local historical stuff.

I'll always be a returning customer when I want to have a nice hearty breakfast.
