Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

There was a large Sunday crowd but we were served very quickly! We ordered the maple bacon grilled chicken with sides of mash potatoes and broccoli! And the grilled chicken salad was fresh and satisfying! As always the buttered biscuits and jelly were a treat! Everything was definitely delicious! The staff were friendly and cheerful on New Year’s Eve! There are a wide variety of elegant and fun gifts in the shop! They had Steeler merchandise among the Mountaineer souvenirs at reasonable prices, actually marked down after the season!!

I was very impressed how several employees went the extra mile to search ingredient labels for food coloring, which I'm allergic too. And the best news of all is not only that the answer was no, there is no food coloring, but that it's solid and real ingredients, they showed me the label. That is fantastic to see in the day and age of basically eating chapstick. Excellent job, Cracker Barrel, for feeding us all real food! Delicious too! 😁

People were so friendly at this location there’s this lady Julia our server wow! she have a lovely presence and was so kind with us. Pancakes were delicious like always buttery and fluffy. I always order the grandma samplers always a good choice.

Stopped at this cracker barrel in west Virginia and had superb service. Our server kept our coffees and water filled, and made sure I had plenty of cream. He also cleared dirty dishes as we finished our meal so we could relax and visit over a clean table. The store was filled with a variety of country nick nacks and cute clothes. The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of parking. The food is always plentiful and good.

During the pandemic, it became difficult to visit Cracker barrel because they stopped carrying the one thing we ate, the grilled catfish.

So we stopped going there for at least 2 years. They lost a lot of business and I think a lot of people felt the same way. Now, the catfish is back, and we who are pescatarians can enjoy the dish once again.

This is also a good place for vegetarians and vegetable based diets. We don't go for anything other than the catfish ourselves, and we enjoy the other vegetable based options on the menu.

The service is quick, always predictable food, comfort food. If you will, love the flare and decor, and love the front shop where they sell just about anything they can. Always a fun time, especially with family.

Colleen is a great server! Very friendly and courteous! She always takes care of us! My family highly recommends her! Great experience overall!

I have never eaten food in any cracker barrel all over this country that I did not love. It is the greatest ever, anyplace. Love their gravy.

There were people already there and then our group of 2 buses that were.ped in and they did a wonderful job getting everyone accommodated.

The store was very clean and decorated nicely. It's hard to figure out where the check-out line begins and ends when it's crowded. We had takeout, it was pretty good. The employees working the front and the girl who answers the phone and brings the orders out was very polite.

Visited here while in Freemont, West Virginia. The Hotel I was staying at had three basketball teams staying and the last group thru clean out the breakfast Buffet. Had the Grandma Special which was served hot and fresh. My server Julia was friendly and courteous. Chocolate Pecan pie was fantastic, but a bit more Chocolate chips the took away from pecan taste.

Food and service were great. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which isn't bad for a Sunday at lunch/after church. Food was out even faster.

I had a very nice birthday yesterday and my meal made it all the better I always pick cracker barrel to eat at for my birthday

Great experience... went in to get peanut brittle for my mother-in-law, representative quickly directed me to the item and rang out my order. I had extra time, so I bought boxes and shopped around. It's so delicious my husband and I are going to get some soon.

Had the country fried chicken with gravy, and it was fabulous. The meal is like $12 before a drink and whatnot and comes with biscuits & gravy and a side, too much food to finish and cheap.

Great food and service at a good price. The standard of what you should expect from a cracker barrel.
