Caledonia Skatepark

I spend 3 to 4 nights a week here in summer and fall because my 11 year old plays park football. It's a nice park that's well lit and very clean. It's also got good places to park a lounge chair in the shade and watch practice. In the spring all the classes walk across from school to have park day and many of the residents of caledonia donate time and food for this day. Our class had a man who grilled a billion delish hotdogs and a lady who kept all these fifth graders hydrated with snow cones. Its It's a very large park in comparison to the size of the town. They got a good walking track too. I see all these healthy people just running and exercising. I think, now, Abbie, tomorrow you're going to do that too. Then my brain gets to tomorrow and says Not today, Boss. Not today.

Nice place! I do wish the gravel parking lot didn't butt right up to the skatepad because, inevitably, kids throw rocks onto the area right where the ramps are. That makes it tough!

Nice park for a small town. Way better than the one in Columbus.
