City Donut

This was on the list of “must go to” places recommended to us on vacation. It did NOT disappoint. The donuts were extremely moist and delicious and they offered a wide selection. It was suggested to go early as they usually sell fast and this was good advice. It wasn’t long until the line was out the door. Highly recommend.

Donuts done right! The staff member was very nice, engaging and helpful. The ambiance was fun. The donuts were fresh and old school… If you like a good donut - stop in. They also have a variety of drinks and make the donuts into a slider… Would be fun for a generous dessert or fun date with family and friends!

These are really good donuts. They aren't joking about how good their apple fritters are. A lady working there took me and my girls' picture for their wall of fame and they really enjoyed it. I highly recommend.

Best donuts around! We've tried others and City Donut is hands down the best. Staff is always friendly, and the donuts are always fresh. The apple fritters are amazing-as big as a dinner plate and delicious. Get there early, though, or they might sell out! We love this place!

My partner and I went on a random impromptu dessert date. He got the bama slamma I think it was called. It was salted caramel ice cream in a glazed donut with Cinnamon Toast Crunch pieces and whipped cream. I got the plain Jane with birthday cake ice-cream and whipped cream. His was a bit too much sweetness but mine was perfect! This was our first time eating Icecream and donuts and it was so good! Would def go back next time we’re in the area.

My wife and I went here on our anniversary trip to Orange Beach. They had a great variety of donuts and everything tastes really good. They are very friendly and the prices are very affordable I would definitely recommend this place.

Wow!!! My husband and I have tried a of donuts in our lifetime. We both agreed that these are the BEST donuts we’ve ever had. Our only regret is that we discovered this place on our way out of town! There were the “chefs kiss” to the end of our vacation. We will be back to City Donut next time we visit Orange Beach!

Great donut shop that is open late! We had several donuts, and we loved them all. I'd have to say their red velvet donuts were the best! If you like sweets, this is a must stop location in Orange Beach.

These are so fresh! Staff friendly. They don’t have coffee but there is a Starbucks across the street.

We found City Donut’s back in 2018! It never fails that when we come to Orange Beach or Gulf Shores that it’s our very first stop. This year we got to visit the new location and the milkshakes are just as good.

Donuts are really good. The selection is also solid. The people that work there were very pleasant as well. Order a caramel macchiato hot drink and white chocolate mocha hot drink and they were very well made!

You take a few good ingredients, mix them and cook. Repeat and hone and repeat and hone until you have mastered it. And then you keep doing it right until you honestly can't do it wrong. And that is City Donut.

Couple that with not just friendly service, but that extra smile and hug and sincere wishes (so wonderful to see you Aeris and Liz!), you aren't stopping in for a sweet treat, you are visiting beloved friends that keep you coming back (three times this week!).

My experiences here are always great, my orders are always made wonderfully and to my exact specifications. I absolutely would recommend that you eat here as it's the best donut shop in orange beach!

I’m almost hesitant to write an honest review of City Donut, simply because I’d hate to have to wait in even longer lines to get my fix. Fantastic donuts with a wide variety from simple yeast to numerous flavored iced, filled, cake donuts, and giant apple fritters. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is probably my favorite donut shop and my local place is consistently ranked as the top donut spot in Alabama. Don’t miss out when you’re down here.

This place was so good. I came by to get sweet cone Alabama but stopped by next door and ended up with this donut which is easily the best donut I’ve ever tasted in my life. I’ll keep it short and sweet on the review. Come try a unique flavor and give this place a shot. The owner was an extremely nice guy who spoke with us for a little bit.

Right on, Orange Beach has a pretty nice little setup with a sugary and fresh breakfast being taken care of when the reigns are handed over to the folks at City Donut..
You got all the options and digs here, even ice cream if the kids wanted to swing that way.
Very attentive and friendly staff. Clean store front and plenty of seating, fast service waiting wasn’t too bad.
Wish I lived closer out this way so I could grab them for the work team in the morning. 10/10z
