The Wooden Tie Cafe

A local recommended this place so we went there for lunch. My wife had a taco plate and I had the brisket plate with sides of home made chips, and baked beans. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were plenty. The waitress was very nice and helpful. We would definitely eat here again when we make a trip to the area again.

The food is 10 stars not 5 big bad piggy makes my mouth water just writing this , we order almost weekly from them everytime the whole experience is on point. Not to mention cost we pay more money for fast food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Very unique environment. Staff were friendly and accommodating to a large group. Food was fabulous! Prices were reasonable, with very large portions. Set in an old home, the bedrooms are now individual eating areas with large tables, stained glass windows, gorgeous! Well worth the drive out!!!

This place is so good that my wife makes sure to at least try and convince me to stop by anytime we're in the area.

It's a cozy little place, and you can smell the food cooking as you pull in. And the portions are generous.

A restaurant in a re-done house in a small town. It was busy and the reason why is the food. I had the Brisket plate and it was good brisket. Oh, the Bread Pudding desert was fabulous

Very delicious barbecue, but what stands out is the service and unique setting. Great bourbon selection with environment friendly to kids!

I drove over an hour away with warped rotors to try this place. I had heard many good things about the food and was not disappointed. The food was great and at a good price. You can really tell the food is made with quality ingredients. The staff were extremely friendly as well. If you get a chance to scope the place out you will notice beautiful woodworking pieces. Highly recommend, I will definitely be back.

Stopped by over the weekend and had the tacos, 2 brisket and 1 pulled pork, so good I will definitely get them again soon

My wife and I just stumbled upon this place and we were amazed how good everything was. I had the ribs and they were fantastic. My wife had the brisket sandwich and again fantastic and she loved her salad that came with it. I had the house chips ( AWESOME) and fries for my sides and the bread pudding for dessert just topped it off. We will definitely be back to what i would call a hidden gem.

We stopped here on a cross-country road trip and we were so glad that we did! It was ABSOLUTELY delicious. We walked in and it was so busy that we ended up sitting at the bar for dinner, which ended up being fantastic because we got to talk to the wife of one of the owners. The story of how they started the restaurant, named and decorated it was so lovely to hear and made the stop very worth-while after a long day of driving.

I would highly recommend!

Super duper yummy food. It did not disappoint. The cheese sauce is a must try. Claire had great work ethic and customer service skills and is a wonderful waitress. Jesse was okay, too.
