I wanted to take a moment to express why I shop locally and will always give my business to the Mount Carroll Home Center. I went in recently needing paint for a project I had never attempted before and I was waited on by Grace. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also courteous and kind. At no point did she make me feel foolish for my lack of knowledge about the topic. She gave me amazing advice, steered me toward the best products for my job, cautioned me against extraneous products I didn’t need, and thanks to her my project was a breeze! Plus I saved money not driving somewhere out of town. We are lucky to have a place like this.

We got the main breaker for our fuse box there for 1/2 of the price then menards. So we took the parts back to Menards & got My Money Back. Definitely Payes to Check Prices in the Towns around u before u go to Davenport Menards !!! :)

The service at Do it Best is amazing. Staff will bend over backwards to help you solve your hardware problems. Nothing is too small or too big for these guys.

The only place locally to buy home improvement stuff and they carry everything. Otherwise I would have to go to Freeport or Clinton Iowa.
