Tea Room At the Depot

Very nice place. I highly recommend the broccoli cheddar soup and turtle cheesecake. They are kid-friendly. Love how they gave my daughter a teacup for her Diet Coke and a pitcher. The staff were great too. I recommend reservations. Will be returning.

Great place for a special occasion! I see people wear sundresses and fascinator hats for afternoon tea. Food comes out in three tiers. Soup/salad, sandwich, and dessert. The food is absolutely delicious. Lots of tea options. They make homemade butter. Ours was strawberry. The restaurant is connected to a store that you have to walk through to get to the tea room. The waitress we had was so nice! Had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Amazing food wonderful atmosphere. Very good gluten free options with great attentiveness to safety. Before I could even ask about precautions the waitress shared that they change gloves and have a separate panini press for gluten free. And the gluten free coconut cream cup was incredible!

Beautiful place to make memories with friends and family, especially around the holidays. Food is so good and the service is above and beyond!

We had a great time at the Tea Room. The kids loved the tiers and so did the adults. It wasn't too busy when we went, but there were many people there. It was very relaxing and enjoyable for everyone in our party from 5 years old to 60. Yummy food, friendly staff, and beautiful decor. I would recommend everyone to visit!

Wonderfully eclectic shopping and some really delicious food. Outstanding service as well. The desserts are unparalleled in this area, and everything else was equally fantastic. We both enjoyed ourselves immensely. Looking forward to returning here every chance we get.

Had a little wait for our table...waitress was great. Chicken salad was very yummy...chicken noodle soup was OK. Lemon pie was so light and yummy too. A little pricey...but a nice place as a treat.

The Tea room is always my go to for a fun girls day or any special occasion! Really impressed by their gluten free offerings! Food is always top notch and the tiered presentation never gets old…so fun!

This is a wonderful, quaint little restaurant! The menu is set up so you can either order à la cart or a three course meal. I had the chicken salad croissant with a side salad and a chocolate mini Bundt cake for dessert. Peach pie was the pie of the day and the friends I was with said it’s delicious! The atmosphere is delightful. Service was excellent. There is a gift shop attached which has all kinds of cool items. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

It feels like a special occasion here. Everything is decorated beautifully. Your food is served on a gorgeous 3 tier platter. The food and coffee was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back. But next time I'll make a reservation.

If you haven't been here you are sure missing out. Culinary art, tea and attention to detail are off the charts!! So kind and friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is so great. You will not be disappointed if you go. The food is outstanding and beautiful and so very delicious with large portions. The gift shop is a great addition. This is a perfect place for a girls lunch. Or multi generation gathering. It’s quiet and has delicious food. The service was great. Super cute gift shop for before and after!

They have a gift shop inside the restaurant . All kids of Christmas stuff. The restaurant has 3 course meal of soup or salad with sandwiches and desert. A little bit on the expensive side. About 20.00 not counting drinks or tip.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Depot celebrating a birthday. The food and service were phenomenal! It had been a few years since we had been there. It is a relaxing drive from Bloomington-Normal. Be sure to make reservations.
