Mattress Firm Bannockburn

We needed a queen mattress and bed frame ASAP. Dropped in and everything was a breeze. Marty (the salesman at the store) was excellent and helped us with a few different options based on what we needed wrt. firmness. We were in and out in under 20 minutes with a delivery date in 3 days. The store has good options across a variety of brands and in-room delivery is quick and reasonably priced. This is our second time purchasing from this store.

Kyle was knowledgeable, professional and provided us with many options! We never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. We wholeheartedly recommend Kyle and Mattress Firm !

Tremendous people work at this Mattress Firm location. Both, Brandon and Alex are absolutely wonderful people who have a wealth of knowledge about the mattress market and manufacturing processes, going beyond that of just sales. They demonstrate a particularly broad set of knowledge about sleeping problems as well as back problems and what mattresses fits each individual's problems best, while also taking into account their body size. It is worth coming to this location purely for them if you are not in the area. They are willing to work with the customer to get you what you need at a reasonable price as well.

I’ve had a variety of mattress buying experiences in my life, and most of them have been bad. I developed a preference a while back for avoiding Sleepy’s/Mattress Firm types of stores and shopping at department or furniture stores. I am not sure why.

However, in my most recent purchase, Mattress Firm was close to my house, and so I walked into the Mattress Firm location on Waukegan Rd (43) and Half-Day Road in Bannockburn, Il. to just check out some mattresses and confirm some of my research.

When I arrived, Roy was the sales person working. He greeted me immediately. It became quickly clear that there was something different about Roy. He really cares about what he does. He listens to your preferences and provides you with a lot of information about the different types of mattresses, the reason for any differences in price, the type of mattress he sleeps on. In short, Roy really wanted to help me find a mattress in my budget that was right for me…that I would be happy with.

After receiving all the information from Roy, I told him that I wanted to buy a particular mattress but that I needed to talk with my wife first before spending some extra money. Roy did not try to hard sell me or discourage me from speaking to my wife. In fact, his reaction was the opposite. He encouraged me to do so and wrote his hours down on his business card in case I had any more questions. I went back the next day and bought the mattress.

It is so refreshing to encounter an employee at a chain store that takes immense pride in what they do and in the value proposition they seek to offer to others. Roy knows a lot about every item in the store, and he used his knowledge to educate me and not to persuade me. He knew that if he found me a great mattress and treated me appropriately, I would buy buy the mattress. This “knowing” makes all the difference in the world, because it removes the stress from the process. I felt like Roy was in my corner, trying to help me. And, I of course went back the next day and bought the bed. I am sure I will enjoy many great night’s sleep in my new bed. For Roy, keep up what you are doing. Success is inevitable when you approach your work the way you do. Thanks for a great experience.

Casey was an exceptional sales person. He was patient and explained all of our options to us and when we made our purchase we felt very sure of our decision. We greatly appreciated him showing us options in various price ranges and explaining exactly how all the new beds work! I have been researching mattresses for two weeks and he made the final decision easy to make. Would highly recommend Casey and this location.

This place has very nice people and they are so polite. They helped us so calmly and not pushing like other mattress stores I’ve been to. The mattress are very good quality. I hope to buy more mattress again from this store.
