Family owned. Husband Wife team are always there. Wife greets you upon arrival. Has an outdoor patio.

Very Creative menu and everything is delicious. Daily specials sell out fast.
Recommend Tuesday Trio especially because it’s the only time the make BBQ Chicken. Thursday Orange Chicken is the best and unexpected.
And the most unique of all the Corned Beef Brisket Yes Corned Beef Brisket. Really Everything is good. Fish is wow. Even have Grouper.

Gotta try it. You’ll love it.

There were 8 of us, Food was super delicious, the shrimp jambalaya, chicken carbonara, ribs, and that 1 pound burger. all mmmmm. Service was above most restaurants I have been in for 50 years. Exceptional were the knowledge of the waiter and the water guy (who poured like an artist). The manager (assumed) checked our satisfaction a couple times, as did the waiter and water guy. Loved it

Nice place. Food is very good, though the ribs tonight were reportedly somewhat tough. Plentiful and very attentive wait staff. View from the inside and patio is not interesting.....at all. Rather pricey.

You know a place is good when there’s a line out the door.

We had the jambalaya , it was spicy and very hearty.

We also had the tuna tar tar and, um, it’s served on top of a fish bowl with a live fish. The fish was named bubbles. It sparked a discussion on ethics that was lively and interactive.

The drinks came and came and came. (There may be a secret cocktail menu that has fantastic options).

I would come back again and try other items as well!

We came very early for dinner. The sevice person was very warm and accommodating. The food was served in a timely manner. The table had as a couple of the entrees, a beyond burger and a walleye dish. These 2 dishes were absolutely remarkable. The fish was prepared perfectly. The burger was juicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back.

Went for lunch and had the Po’ Boy sandwich with fries, SO GOOD! My guest had the pulled pork sandwich and really enjoyed it. The service was amazing, great atmosphere too. Highly recommend Bluegrass Restaurant!

I had dinner her with 6 work friends.

We all order 6 different meals and all 6 were rock solid!

The staff was all friendly and attentive....the whole staff.

The service was top notch!

In an area where service is poor, this place was an A plus!

Two things can be said:

1. Management hires good people
2. The staff are good people and care

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Outstanding service and food. Perfect vibe in the restaurant. So many choices of drinks, apps, food. Can't go wrong with the Lafayette Blue Plate Special(pictured). Alligator and Sweet/Spicy Shrimp apps were incredible. Such good taste. They really do it right here.

I had a great lunch here! The food is expensive, but worth the price. Their bluegrass salad is great. My waiter was fast to sit us down and came around very frequently. They also provide free bread for an appatizer. Overall I had a great experience and would come back.

Can't recommend this restaurant enough. 10/10 for amazing fresh Cajun seafood forward menu, 10/10 service/staff, 10/10 atmosphere (great outdoor seating options, very clean/sanitation conscious). My wife and I ate here for the first time when we celebrated our marriage and just returned a few weeks later because we wanted to try other dishes on the menu and the staff is outstanding.
This restaurant has something for everyone! Every dish we have had there was well balanced but had such great depth of flavor. I strongly recommend the Louisiana Blacked Grouper, Crawfish Risotto, Smoked Cheddar Grits and Vegetable Jambalaya with Beyond Sausage. I only eat fish, but if I did eat meat I would certainly want to try Texas style BBQ ribs and other pit style options. But especially if you love seafood Bluegrass is an absolute must.

I came into town for the weekend and wanted to eat out. So we decided to give bluegrass a try, there was a little bit of a wait, but the food was well worth it. The gumbo was delicious as was the jambalaya. Everything was great quality and the staff was extremely kind to everyone In our company. We also went around the time of Mardi Gras and they had cool decorations and beads that they handed out to everyone. If you’re in town, I highly recommend going.

Highly recommended! Service is excellent! But most of all, the food is incredible! My husband ordered the jambalaya... we loved it! Not too salty, it's perfectly seasoned. I ordered the corned beef sandwich (I'm not a fan of corned beef sandwich but I just wanna give it a try) and I didn't expect it.. the meat was so tender and juicy and love love loved it! Found my new favorite place to visit. Will come back again!

Truly service with a smile; everyone is warm and welcoming. The servers are knowledgeable about the food and drink selection. The food looks and tastes great! Our table tried the Canadian Walleye, one dish as fried, and the other was pan seared, the Bluegrass Burger, and the Fried Shrimp. All dishes were absolutely delicious! The portion size is decent for the price because the quality is top notch! You cannot go wrong with giving this place a try. I can, almost, guarantee you'll be a repeat guest!

First time eating here with my son & we absolutely enjoyed it! Everything was great! From appetizer to dessert it was worth the $$$ spent! Will come back again in the future!

We had a great experience at Bluegrass. We had no reservation but that was not a problem. They sat us at the bar and we were served by Luis, he was a great bartender who provided excellent customer service. My wife had French onion soup which was amazing. I ordered the barbecued corned beef and it was impeccable. They had a great beer selection as well.

These days getting a good meal is not a given. Tonight was terrific, every single dish we ordered was excellent. Can’t ask more than that!

Food and Beverages-always excellent and on point.
Atmosphere-cozy & welcoming.
Waitstaff - they seem to be the most pleasant and hardworking. Also, seems to be enough waitstaff & bartender even when the place is full. (different from other restaurants still struggling with staffing shortages)

Service was outstanding. We had the Bbq ribs,blackened grouper, southwest salad,chopped salad,banana foster and Hot fudhe sundae. Everything was delicious.The place was packed and the best part, you can have a conversation and hear that person. Definitely going back!

We came here after our daughter's graduation from the Navy boot camp. The food was great and service was excellent. We're from Texas but if/when we are back in the area this will definitely have Bluegrass on the list of restaurants to go to!

Every time we go, the food does not disappoint. The BBQ plater is full of meat and perfectly prepared. I always recommend this place.
