I'm a regular! I love this place. The staff is fantastic, especially Maria. She always is attentive and prompt. She even remembers my favorite way to serve water. :)

The food is tasty.

Honestly my favorite restaurant in Highland Park. The homemade chorizo is fantastic, salsa is great, and staff is lovely.

Everything on the menu is delicious! Family-owned and they provide amazing service! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting authentic Mexican cuisine.

Delicious food. Smiling service. Nice menu. Free chips were fresh. I had a pork burrito smothered in verde sauce. Everything about it was delicious. The meat seemed to be seared dark brown for flavor, then simmered slowly till it was moist and tender.

We tried the chicken and beef fajitas with tequilas. We will definitely come back to try other dishes

Normally pick up steak tacos - usually around 10 of them. They're pretty good & they're around $4.30 per taco w tax with all the toppings

If you want authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further. Los Mogotes will keep you coming back in the future for excellent food, a great atmosphere and a wonderful staff. My family and I have gone numerous times and I keep craving their Al Pastor burritos and tacos! We will be going again in the near future! Check them out, you will not regret it!

The burrito poblano, is 🔥 🔥 🔥... the mole reminds me of my abuelas mole. It is a little hidden, so if you don't know someone that has been there, you might miss it. You know it's good, because even in Highland Park, most of the patrons are Mexican.

Best Mexican food you’re going to find for 100 miles. 10/10.

The Burrito Michoacán was as good as I remember!! I hadn’t had one since you guys were in Grayslake. My favorite dish ever!

This place is authentic. Mexican food by Mexican people You actually see a lot of Mexican people as well as Anglos eating there. We've been going there for years and it's always consistently very good. The staff is always happy and welcoming. Prices are reasonable.

I enjoyed my visit. I was pleased by the atmosphere, the server was kind to our group of students who were practicing their skills navigating the community. I ordered the Nachos Supreme and the Spicy pork Hauraches. Both were very tasty.

Great food. Friendly staff. Will definitely eat there again.

Got the steak burrito dinner.
Delicious seasoning and a generous amount of steak in the burrito instead of some I've tried that are mostly lettuce and tomato.

Great Mexican. The Tapequenia is my favorite but the Enchilada's are great too. All the dishes are wonderful and the local Hispanic crowd frequents the place which tells you something.

Best Burrito I have ever had, and you can't beat the price. Even though it is far from Chicago my husband and I don't mind the drive to get some delicious food.

My family and I love this restaurant. The food is terrific. The staff is so kind and welcoming. Their carry out food and service is great and we can’t wait until we can eat in again in the future; We enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place!
