Pekin's American Grill

Very good food awesome service good decorations I always get a meat lovers skillet no veggies. I like the way the the whole place never smells like grease and the floors are never sticky. Food is a 10/10 the service is a 10/10. Love going here with my family.

Sorry about the half-eaten breakfast pictures. We were so surprised at how great the food was! Especially the biscuits! When we got those flat ugly biscuits, I figured they were a mistake and almost sent them back. Boy am I glad I didn't! They were fabulous! Tasted like they were grilled in a cast iron skillet with loads of butter! Crispy and delicious on the outside and fluffy and perfect like my Grandma made in the middle. Once we got started eating, we forgot all about pictures until we were almost done. Believe me, it looked great, too.

I had to take a picture of those wooden walls. I was kind of concerned having bare wooden walls in these germ fearing days, but believe it or not, they were some sort of wall covering! I literally had to touch it to be sure! Bravo on making it look old-timey but keeping us healthy.

Stopped by to have breakfast with a friend. Server was prompt, portions plenty, and very economical. I’ll be back! Great breakfast place!

Very busy place with a lot of noise, but it was very nice nonetheless. Don't go if you have a headache, but if you want a free show, it's very fun to have how everybody seems to work around each other near perfectly.

The food is amazing! I love they're chicken strips; the batter is perfect, and the chicken is nice and juicy. The fries are unbelievable.

This place is small, but the service great! I used the google reservation app and we got in and they had a table ready for use (we were early but still got seated right away). There were 10 of us, once we ordered the food came fairly quickly and was hot and delicious! Everyone ate everything, no leftovers! We stayed and chatted for at least a half hour or maybe a little longer, but they didn't try to rush us out. So accommodating! I had the bacon horseshoe, it was great!

Food excellent and very friendly staff. Cleanliness is top on their list.

I had a Denver Omelet, side of 4 strips of crispy bacon well done, buttered wheat toast, & coffee. It was all delicious!! Had a very good waitress. Didn't catch her name but she had graying hair pulled back in low ponytail. I highly recommend this place!

Very comfortable family diner style. I've only had breakfast there. Food was hot and tasty. Service was pleasant and timely. Prices were reasonable.

Awesome Breakfast and Awesome staff. You get a lot of food for the money. Great Coffee and they never let you run out someone always walking around giving refills. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Keep up the great job

I had a wonderful breakfast here. The service was top notch and I was not rushed out the door. A lot of places want you to eat and go.

First timers but will be back again and soon,brought back memories of having breakfast with my grandparents as the food and amount was truly great.We will be back have fun and see you soon
