We take both of our dogs (puppies) to Pekin Veterinary Clinic. We (our dogs love them). They were absolutely 💯 wonderful at working us in and checking out our 1 year old Frenchton who was not feeling well for a couple of days. They are so patient with her even when she has her mood swings or does not want them to do something. They are there for your furr baby and you. Thank you so much for helping Lily to get better. Now, Ivy will have her playmate back again. Plus, we love to see them happy and healthy. Thank you again.

I take both my dogs to Pekin Veterinary Clinic, and I love them there. When my dog Mia tore her ACL and I didn't know how I was going to get her in the car one of the tech's there was going to come to my house and help me on her own time no less. You can't ask for more then that.

I love them! They treat you with kindness and respect. Our dog Zoey has been having a rough go for about a year and they take their time to help you learn how to care for your pets and are always willing to answer my questions in detail. Highly recommend!

I had moved here recently and unexpectedly needed a vet visit for my cat. Dr. Scott was incredible. Very lovely and warm personality made sure my cat was happy and comfortable with her during the exam. Explained everything very well and made sure we were all on the same page when it came down to the treatment plan. Her assistant Maddy was also wonderful! Very kind to us and treated/handled my cat very well! You can tell everyone there is passionate about animals and animal care. Look forward to bringing the rest of my furry troop in and establishing vet care with PVC! Thank you all for the wonderful experience!

They did a hands down wonderful job with our oldest male when we had an emergency issue.

This place was absolutely amazing. They were all so sweet, it was incredibly clean and beautiful inside, they went above and beyond to give my kitties love.

We had to have our 10yr old boxer put to sleep due to health issues. They told us to take our time and when we decided to call to make an appointment. About a week later we made the tough decision that it was the best thing for her. We went in for the appt. Everyone even the receptionist was very compassionate about our situation. They took us back and they had a bed for her to lay on and even treats for her to eat. They explained everything that was going to happen since we had never done it before. I can’t remember names at this time bc it was so sad that we had to do it but the vet and the assistant were very compassionate. The vet sat with us on the floor until we were ready. Once she passed they let us stay as long as we wanted. I hate for anyone to go through this but I highly recommend them. They were amazing for us. RIP Lizzie! We will miss you forever!!!

Great experience. My cats had a good time and were well taken care of. They also gave us a goodie bag with ornaments made with our cats' paws.

I'm giving you 5 stars because on December 16th of last year, I bring my dog in and he literally died in my arms and I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for being so caring and you guys are awesome and keep working. Let's go to jaw at work love ya and his name was king

I love Pekin Veterinary Clinic. Seriously-- the staff has always been fantastic, both in the treatment of our pets and in their explanations to us as pet owners. I've been going to this office since before Dr. Jess took over the practice and it has only gotten better and better with time. THE best vet in the area, bar none!

I've been bringing my animals here for over 20 years. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They hire the best and brightest doctors and the rest of staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Currently, I usually see Dr. Propts and she is awesome! I also enjoy seeing long-term vet techs Jennifer, Kelly and Shelly. In fact, I credit Kelly with saving the life of my cat Petey when I rushed him in one day because he was suffocating due to fluid on his lungs.

Sadly we had an emergency visit with our beloved Bear. The staff was quick and prompt to getting him in the office and taken back and started immediately taking care of him to see what was wrong. Everyone was very compassionate about the situation. The Vet was excellent on keeping me informed how he was doing and thorough updates. The techs were very kind and patience giving me time to say good bye. I would highly recommend Pekin Veterinary clinic to everyone because if they worked this smoothly and compassionatly in an emergency just think how amazing they are in everyday appointments.

We love this office. I’ve taken my animals here for years and they are always patient and understanding of everything. I hear so many bad things of other offices in Pekin, so I always refer my friends with pets to this place!

I had an (obviously) unexpected accident with my cat. The situation was understood and a plan was put in place immediately. The entire staff knows Onyx and will stop to say hi to her every other day when she comes in for bandage changes. They also take the time at the end of their day to make sure her bandages are always cute as can be! She now has quite a few fans of her frequent “outfit changes” I’ve been coming here for years and I expect to be coming here for many more! It took a lot of vet hopping to find the right one for my crew, but I wholeheartedly believe I’ve found the one!
