Second Place Church

Very nice church, we had a friend memorial service there and Pastor Joe was very professional and a close family experience of who spoke for it,, that it was touching to all that came,,,

I'm so glad I found this little church. I felt so welcomed, included, invited right away. After plugging in to serve and greeting for only a few weeks, we were ordered to stay home! I was really bummed but this little family found the most creative ways to keep us connected and encouraging one another. From live streaming from their basement, zoom meetings, and emails chock full of spiritual food, fun recipes, and simple ways to serve our neighborhoods, its been a busy quartintine. I've never felt more like I belong. No one was forgotten. Thank you Second Place. You're the most awesome!

I LOVE Second Place Church (also called 2PC). It's a warm and inviting, multi-generational, multi-cultural church in the South Suburbs of Chicagoland. We learn, grow, share, connect, and celebrate our faith together. The sermon messages are current and timely, and Joe brings charisma and humor to each service. There are weekend services on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Also, their are mid-week services for youth and growth groups for the whole family. The children's program has something fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for ALL age groups. Come check it out and join the 2PC family!

Second Place is one of the most welcoming places. Whoever you are, whatever you look like, you can find a home here. I am thankful to have gotten connected with Second Place since my wife, daughter and I moved to the area this past summer.

5 Stars but... - this isn’t a perfect review because this isn’t a perfect church and there aren’t perfect people here. And if you’re seeking a church, and you find a perfect one, don’t go there, you’ll mess it up! Jesus is preached here, others are served and loved here, and family’s are strengthened here. This church is growing in the Holy Spirit for the glory of God. They offer several different growth groups, Prayer time, different free courses that equip you as a believer of Jesus Christ, Alpha series, all types of missions work locally and globally - I’d highly recommend giving it a look!

Second Place Church has always felt like home since I started attending services there 10 years ago. Everyone are genuine and caring. I highly recommend checking it out!

This church is one of the most welcoming and inclusive churches I've ever been a part of! Attending and getting involved within Second Place has been a needed breath of fresh air!

This is a beautiful place to meet with God with other people. No one here is perfect or expects you to be perfect. Second Place is Perfectly Imperfect filled with God’s presence, mercy and grace.

We love Second Place because the people are real, and the church is service oriented. It's not a Sunday experience so much as it is an opportunity to serve and grow.
