Cumnor Court Park & Sarah Channick Playground

Not what it used to be. RIP Sarah, we all wish you would've just put the phone down, and looked both ways before crossing the street that one day at University of Illinois. Sometimes we have too much faith in the written law, and we fail to obey the natural order of things. park has some nice new amenities, there is no merry go round, but they did empty the wood chips and put down soft tiles. Safe for children whom can be careful around hard objects and structures that are not padded. bad place to bring kids that are uncoordinated or need constant supervision because there are many blind spots. the neighbors are great, and if you're feeling up to it, the village of Deerfield has been dredging the creek behind this park for years now, feel free to cast a line, in the spring we get some beautiful species of fish, and the natural ecology has improved tremendously over the years, Michael Jordan has been known to cross country ski the creek here, and so do others as well, if you're interested in a fun escape with family or friends, this same body of water is connected to Evanston and the Bahai Temple.

I really like this playground. It seems like the structure is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
There is a sand area, two regular swings and two bucket swings, lots of shade, 1 picnic table, and a couple of benches.

Street parking
There is barely any grass here. If you are looking to throw a frisbee or a ball, this is not the park for that.
