My favorite place for unique food, excellently prepared, plus an excellent selection of craft beers. Last night we ordered from the Chao Thai pop-up menu which was excellent. I have never had a meal here that wasn't top notch. Can't recommend enough.

Really great place for a bit to eat. Very knowledgeable staff! The food we really good. Fries are excellent and the chicken sandwich excellent. The brisket was also good. (I have had Texas brisket and this was still very good!)

Best burger I’ve had in a while. She likes it without the bun. Really delicious! Known for their fries. I can see why. Great sauces. What a great find!!

Loved this place! I was a bit unsure based on some of the other pictures but it was easy to find and it was perfect for a bite out after driving a few hours up to ME. The staff were helpful in helping me choose a non alcoholic cocktail option (great choices for any non-drinkers), and the food was delicious. I had their smash burger and it was to die for. Great flavor combinations.

Great spot for a drink and a bite. They have a huge beer selection, and some mixed drinks. It's small, with a bar that seats maybe 8 people, and some tables for dining in off of their unique menu with tasty foods. I love the brussel sprouts, they're ridiculous. I'm not a meat eater but the plates look great, and there's always something that I can order. Dog friendly outside seating. Highly recommend!

First time in this area and tried this restaurant based on the reviews. Had a really tasty meal here - the brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever tasted. The street corn dip was also fabulous. Likely won’t be back this way again but for anyone else traveling through, I highly recommend.

Awesome food, huge selection of local and international beer. Staff and kitchen are really attentive to a gluten free diet. Felt totally safe as a celiac eating here, fryers are dedicated gluten free, and all of the batters are gluten free. Smash burger was delicious on a gluten free bun, and the house made dipping sauces were excellent. When I went, they had Lucky Pigeon cans available, have had a gf burger and a gf pint out in so long!

Had a wonderful lunch here. Their menu is great and everything was super delicious. The fried chicken sandwich had great flavor and the tofu and squash salad was incredible. Our group loved the brussels sprouts and fries too. Definitely looking forward to returning.

Ok so this place is a hidden gem. They have an amazing and eclectic beer selection and their food is made fresh to order. The service is friendly and local. Also the brussel sprouts are on a completely different level. They are open pretty late too so this makes it a great spot to stop after work and get food and a brew!

Not many places do an authentic and excellent white BBQ sauce like this. Great fries, great beer selection (including Belgians and gueuze), delicious brisket grinder, Mexican cord dip, and notable worth-returning-just-for-the popcorn chicken. So juicy.

Great local spot and they can make almost everything on their menu Gluten Free, dedicated fryers (yes, their fries are great), and on Sunday/Monday there is also a Thai menu that can all be made GF. There menu doesn’t indicate it, so be sure to ask.

Also, they have GF beer of multiple varieties!

Added bonus, dogs are allowed in the picnic tables out back.

GAHH! I can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely fabulous food and beer selection. Cute picnic tables out front and the best service! I feel like you couldn’t go wrong with anything on the menu but the brisket sandwich, brussel sprouts and chicken sandwich are exceptional. Can’t stop raving about the green sauce on the chicken sandwich. Beer recommendations based on what we originally ordered! SO GOOD.

The atmosphere is super chill, the chefs create delicious food with a twist, and the beer selection is hard to beat. I love trying all the different IPA’s they have on tap. For sure one of my favorite spots!!

We haven't been to Standard Gastropub since our last visit to Maine in 2016. My wife and I really enjoyed the food and beer then but wondered if it survived the pandemic. Happily it's still going strong in 2023! And I'm glad to report it's gotten better with table service and new seating. The food is excellent and their beer selection is still second to none.

Oh me oh my!! What a wonderful place. Seriously the best beer selection in the area AND amazing Thai food.

Food and service were great! Love that it’s open later than other locations in town. Very cool wall of exposed coolers that really make the atmosphere. Also love that you can see into the kitchen, great transparency. Love the brunch menu as well as the standard menu. A real gem. Will be coming back!

tandard Gastropub feels like home. Every year upon our return to town for the last 7 years our first stop is Standard. The first Bissell Brothers Substance of the summer really kicks things off and is part of the tradition.

The staff is top notch allowing you to celebrate the world class craft beer selection, update you on the specials of the day while being attentive yet not intrusive. This previously hidden gem was shadowed the gas pumps which had you thinking it was just a gas station, but given the current COVID limitations and restrictions the outdoor seating is as close to perfect as I have seen anywhere.

The entire experience is fluid, contactless and feels normal sans the masks. The food should not be overlooked and it is exciting to have the fried chicken sandwich a former special as a staple on the menu. The smash burgers (I go double) hit the spot with some delicious frites and sauces would be my recommendation to start. Given the near flawless experience and thoughtfulness of the team for on location and curbside (we did it all!) we kept coming back and got the Lobster Roll too.

There are options for Vegetarians too. I can't give enough praises to Standard Gastropub and their staff for making this family favorite so calming and relaxing during all of this uncertainty. I know we'll be back, it is just a matter of when.

A special place with an insane beer selection and killer food. Don't sleep on the fries and make sure to drink as local as possible.

Absolutely great place to visit. The food is amazing and the assortment of beers is second to none.

Highly recommend stopping. If you get a chance and around the menu get the burnt ends!

Food was excellent, everything was so well thought out with all the different flavors and textures. And don’t even get me started with the fries. Definitely recommend!

Standard Gastropub was an awesome experience. They customized a dish for me because of my food allergy and it was delicous. The care they paid was fantastic. We were last there when the Thai pop up menu was available and it was a delicious and fun experience for me and my parents.
