Mountainview Resort

Mountainview Resort is unique and beautiful on so many levels. It is a resort that sits nestled in the heart of the Moose River Valley and surrounded by a gorgeous mountain range. The lodge is so nice & cozy with the lobby being very welcoming. They have an indoor heated pool & and an outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, common’s w/pool table, fireplace, tv sitting area, and a reading nook with books available. They have five gorgeous cabins on the property that sleep up to 10 people!! The staff are friendly and very helpful. If you love outdoor activities, this is the place to go! Local snowmobile rentals, ATV rentals, canoes & row boat rentals, and white water rafter nearby.

I would like to preface my review by saying I was worried about staying at this location after reading some of the reviews on varying platforms. However this place was nothing like the reviews!! The place was clean, staff friendly, sure a few things are dated, but nothing unexpected for a Maine resort. It’s Jackman Maine, your in the woods. The pool area, is different but very clean. The sauna is a great added touch as well! Right on the main snowmobile trail, close to amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

Well appointed cabin, 3 bedrooms, 2baths. Very nice porch. Private, quiet. Have not required any service. Room was ready when we arrived. Clear instructions of expectations. Washer and dryer in large cabin. No daily service required or needed.

Clean, comfortable, everything we needed to cook with was there.

Really enjoyed this cabin. The views were absolutely fantastic from everywhere you were. You felt totally at peace with nature. Definitely in a remote location so make sure you pack and shop well prior to arrival. The pools were both clean and very well maintained. The staff was also very pleasant to deal with. Definitely a cabin atmosphere and vibe, but still warm and inviting. The kitchen and dining room are perfect for a large family dinner or game night. And the jacuzzi tub downstairs is great.

I stayed in the main building and was throughly impressed by the cleanliness of my suite. Everything was so clean and neat. The room had a rustic feel to it but was well equipped with all the modern amenities. Terry was a delight and was the most sweetest and so hospitable. The mountain views were to die for! I woke up to turkeys and moose. Definitely recommend!

If you are looking for complete solace, a connection with nature, a lovely place to relax with comfort and convenience, then you've found it at Mountainview. I can't say enough about this place other than we can't wait to go back! We had a 3 bedroom cabin that was perfect and the Jackman location is heavenly. Thank you to all who made our weekend getaway spectacular. Details: clean cabin, well appointed, nice staff -- all needs met. THANK YOU!!

First time visiting Mountainview resort and we will be back. Rustic atmosphere is just perfect in every way, clean, spacious suites that are fully stock for all cooking needs. Sandy at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. Very reasonably priced. The views from the room are just breath-taking. Great way to see the beauty of Maine. Thank you- and we will be back again for sure!! If you haven't been here before, you do not know what you are missing!!

Clean , all dishes,towels,pans...awesome to cook our own meals with our food allergies. The deck out back affords a fantastic view! The pools are wonderful, the staff most helpful. We will return!

My 3 friends and I stayed for our yearly GG weekend get away. Although the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance we had the best time and it was because of Terry at the front desk who went above and beyond to make sure we did. Beautiful Clean and Friendly would definitely recommend and stay again.

Steve and Jen with friends stayed at the nice cabin which it was amazing place I loved the fireplace and the place was set up to cook we had great time the view and rustic atmosphere was well worth the money actually thought it was worth more. Patty at the front desk was great patient with trying to get us a cabin and a couple rooms overall I plan on returning next year for our snowmobile trip .big thanks to the people that are running the place u can tell they care about guest and their cabins see u next year

This resort is a GEM in the Lake region of Maine. Patty is a gracious, knowledgeable host/receptionist on property ... the town of Jackman is a camper's paradise with easy hikes and kayaking nearby, lovely hometown restaurants, waterfalls and a golfcourse/mountain just a ferry ride away. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have kitchenettes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Stayed in July 2019! Love the resort! Beautiful scenery all around. Short drive to Quebec. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pool. Great quiet place to relax!

Sandy and Patty where terrific. Friendly, helpful, and huggable. The accommodations where beautiful. Totally unexpected at there comfort and look. View was truly a mountain view. We will definitely have to try and make it for the autumn season. Again thanks for a very relaxing and restful couple of days.

Resort is great! Large and clean room with a balcony and great view, nice hot tub/pool area. Direct access to ITS 89. Love it!

Friendly staff with deep roots in the town and lots of personality, hotel had unique countryside personality, hot tub, best WiFi in the area, spacious rooms with great mountainview, located next to the town’s souvenir shop

Only complaint is we didn’t see a moose :)

First of all I'm a chicken when it comes to being in the woods. This place was so amazing it's hard to describe just how beautiful God's country can be. Our cabin was awesome, we had a wraparound deck with views that where is so beautiful. We stayed in a little town called Jackman Maine, with a population not over 900 people. The locals there were nice and friendly. I love to shop and even though this place didn't have a lot of stores, but they had the best Trading Post ever and the food OMG you must visit Bishop's the best food ever and very friendly. I recommend everyone to visit, just remember it's a small town so mind your manners...

Great view! Comfy place to come and relax. Nice game room/lounge, exercise, kitchen in room and good service. Would recommend.
