Peggy was great! She was very responsive and everything was smooth. The cabin was lovely and exceeded our expectations! You'll be pleasantly surprised! It provided the perfect balance between a modern and vintage cabin feel! The place was clean and the bedding was top quality. I would definitely go back and would definitely recommend a friend!

We were delighted to spend a few nights at Moose Lodge (in the Canoe Cabin) on our road trip from Quebec City to Portland. The cabin was picture-perfect-- spotlessly clean, comfortable, and cozy, nestled in a wooded corner of Maine. We enjoyed the twice-daily visits from the freight train (not inordinately loud!). Ed and Peggy truly went above and beyond for us and ensured we had a great time canoeing and kayaking on the beautiful nearby "pond" (really more of a lake!). The flower garden was an unexpected treat as well. We hope to return soon.

My husband and I just finished a week at the Canoe Cabin at Moose Lodge and we had a wonderful time. Ed and Peggy have put so much thought and consideration into the set up of the cabin that we were blown away with how at home we felt. After riding the trails all day, and mostly in the rain, it was nice to know once we got back to our cabin that we had all the comforts of home. I can't say enough positives about the owners and the cabin. We won't be staying anywhere else when we visit Jackman again. Do yourself a favor and book yourself at the Moose Lodge. We can't wait to go back!!

This lodge is run by Ed and Peggy, who are absolutely wonderful and truly are there to serve. They have built cabins that have all the amenities and frankly, are some of the more upscale wooden cabins we have stayed in. Rooms are well appointed and beyond the basics have all the necessary kitchen equipment for cooking, whether it be for a few days to a few weeks. But beyond that it's the little.touches that make this place great - it's clear this is well run operation with owners who really care. Highly recommended.

This is our fourth year returning to Moose Lodge for our annual snowmobile trip. Ed and Peggy are such a pleasure to work with; very responsive and accommodating. It is very convenient that we can rent snowmobiles right from Ed, as years past we have rented from local companies who do not provide the same customer service (some will not even deliver snowmobiles) Ed is so gracious with lending out his snowmobile gear and making sure we are properly dressed so we enjoy our time. Always nice jumping into the hot tub when we return home from being out riding all day! They are so welcoming to our group and our dogs. Moose Lodge is kept clean and is a perfectly decorated Maine Cabin. We will be back next year!

We stayed over a week in the cabin! Place was way beyond our expectations! It was absolutely beautiful. Beds were so comfortable! Place was spotless!! Ed and Peggy were the best owners!!! 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful week at beautiful Moose Lodge! The fire pit, hot tub, and the attention to detail were first class. Ed and Peggy are first class hosts and a great addition to the Jackman community.
The Lodge furnishing added to the fun of being in a beautiful setting, attention to details was everywhere, even books about Maine’s stories. Moose Lodge is truely a perfect year round vacation spot.

The place is gorgeous. The owners Ed and Peggy spent a lot of time planning and decorating the place. A lot of time was spent on the attention to details. It as every amenity you can think of; two well stocked kitchens, an outdoor jacuzzi, a popcorn machine, standard and kuerig coffee makers.
And to go over the top, an outdoor pizza oven and a fryolater

Stayed at moose Lodge with my cousins and friend Saturday thru Tuesday and had a blast the owners were so kind and helped us with snow mobiles, equipment, and lodging. Loved the experience and can not wait to go back. LOVE that he feeds the wild life also 😁

Peggy and Eddie could not have been more accommodating. The custom built cabin we stayed in was impeccably maintained and equipped. Peggy and Eddy have thought of everything you could need. You will be VERY pleased. Jackman ME in style.

We spent a week at the Moose Lodge riding and bird hunting. The property is very well kept, clean, and have everything you would ever need. If you are looking to stay in Jackman, this is the best place you can find!!!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE !!! The owners are the greatest people you’ll ever meet!!! We went the end of January. I will definitely be returning!!!! This is a great location and an amazing town! Everyone we met was so nice!
