The Bar - The Avenue

The wings were delicious and for my surprise they were all flats! They tasted very good and the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. We also got cheese curds and the cheese was of very good quality. We tried several beers and they all came in a good temperature. Both the server and the bartender were polite and attentive. Next time I’m up north, I would like to come back.

We stopped in for lunch on St. Patrick’s Day. Delicious Reuben sandwiches!!! Our server Kristina was fabulous!!

Awesome placs! My wife and I's first time here, the manager Mike is a super cool guy. I asked a drink recommendation and he hooked me up. The food is great too, I definitely recommend getting the flight. The burgers are super good and if it's your birthday you're in for a good time.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this visit to the bar was amazing. I was pretty impressed with the service, and the food.
Wings were hot, crispy and saucy just the way I wanted them. I order spicy garlic parmesan. Crisscross fries crispy and delish. Plenty of ranch sides and celery (crispy and fresh). Beer was on nice and cold and on sale! Who doesn't like that!
Our service was very attentive and helpful, I wanted to split two flavors in a set of 10 wings, she suggested a side of sauce if a wanted to try diff flavors. This was the thing I didn't like, would be nice to either have pictures of how the wings 'look' or either be able to order two flavour. Who doesn't like options!
Other than that everything was great! Thank you the bar. We are glad your are now open.

My parents won 100 wings and we finally made it there to eat them and glad we did on a Monday night so it was not to busy that I was able to bring my kids with.

Stopped in for my wife's birthday. It was fairly empty, but it was a Wed night so that was expected. Bartender was great, free drinks for her birthday plus I was drinking water (dieting and driving) but we made sure to leave an extra tip. We didn't get any food this time, but will probably next time. Those pizzas smelled really good.

Went here for my 29th birthday of course I had to get my birthday button. Staff was very friendly, food was very delicious and came back in a timely manner, bartender was pretty cool and made me a few different special fruity mixed drinks. Great music placing I most certainly enjoyed myself and I will be back. Thank you to the staff for starting my birthday out great.

The wings were fresh and hot. The bartender was very attentive friendly and informative. Although it's not very busy our service was excellent. Would definitely recommend checking this place out The spicy garlic was not the best in my opinion but it was a a hit with everyone else. Happy hour starts at 2:00 The bartender informed us of that which saved us a ton of money..

Delicious food, really great staff, and comfortable atmosphere. The location is super convenient to The Hyatt where I was staying. The service was fast and friendly. I felt the two times I ate there I received good value for my money.

Have consistently had great experiences here over the years. Food is always hot and fresh, and good on top of that. Seating is plenty with views. If you like greasy typical bar food, this location does not disappoint. The service has always been friendly as well.

I ordered on a Sunday night. We got our order 10 minutes earlier than what they quoted us. The wings my boyfriend and his roommate got were better than usual, and the nachos I ordered arrived with the chips separated from the toppings. Such simple little things made a huge difference! Totally recommend!

Been there a few times, atmosphere is nice, one of the bar tenders always seems aggressive, a smile would be nice. Food is okay except for the mozzarella sticks worst I have ever had but my date thought it was okay, so
Maybe it is just my taste. Leg lamp upstairs is always nice and packed.

I got the pulled pork mac and cheese and the appetizer platter and both were delicious! Will be coming back.

Fast service. Seemed slower than usual, but no seats at the bar. Sat at a table and a bartender was with me in a minute or less. Drink was amazing, I had the Saturday drink special of double Captain for $5. Was a very good mix, satisfied with service and drink.

TOP NOTCH. Great staff/service/menu.. The best I have seen in Fox valley yet. Undervalued asset is parking lot located at SAINT Joe's.. 4 dollars includes 3 dollar voucher at THE BAR.

If I was able to, I could probably write a 5 page essay on why I love this place. Celebrated my 21st birthday here (and every birthday since), took their Packers shuttle to my very first game, got married here, and now The Ave is our Friday night tradition. Food is always the very best of bar favorites and Wisconsin classics. Staff feels like family. Shout out to our favorite waitress, Amia! And the Leg Lamp upstairs is perfect for any private party or a fun girl's night out. We LOVE The Bar!

The three alarm garlic parm wings is to die for!!!

My friends and I used to go to Molly's in downtown Oshkosh for 25 cent wings on Mondays...it became a tradition. Then when they stopped having that special that we started going to various "The Bar" locations, because we honestly loved their five alarm wings. I just got a delivery from this location the other week, and it was still great. Try Gold Rush and Gold Fever...they're amazing.
