Carlisle's Restaurant

Overall a good experience, I went in a bigger group, we were sat on the covered patio area, which was great once the heaters kicked on, I'll give them an 11/10 on how effectively those things work! This restaurant is attached to the LC Walker arena (that now Trinity Health arena), it's nice to be able to hear the going ons of the games without having to actually pay for the games 😅. Food was general kitchen food, not too spectacular but not too shabby as well, what'd you would expect of an establishment of the kind. We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn't too busy for the time, pricing is ok, some of the items are a bit pricey depending on what you get, the drinks were pretty good. My daughter got popcorn chicken and fries, the chicken, although very crunchy on the outside was nice and even cooked on the inside, leaving a very good taste in the mouth (of course as mom I had to try some😁) the fries were okay, some harder than others. My order of loaded fries and sweet potato fries were great, id go back just for the sweet potato fries 🤤. The waiters we had were good, although I think because we were a bigger group they kept forgetting a lot of things prior to our food coming, although there was no mix up with the food.

Excellent! I met the owner, he was very warm and inviting. The ambience was perfect as well. Wonderful food. Not to be missed! Servers were fantastic too. Go try it now!

We went on a Saturday night and had a great time! We were able to sit at a table right away. The staff was great, and they helped each other out with drinks and checking in on our table.

We had the classic old fashion and it was very good! We tried the peach old fashion, it was delicious. It was a fun twist on an old fashion! We also tried the strawberry mule! This was very good! I would recommend all three drinks!

Ramen bowl with chicken breast - The base of the soup was so good! This was a very filling and delicious meal! I would definitely get it again!

Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese - This was AMAZING!! It was very creamy! The cheeto dust definitely made the dish!

Would recommend checking this place out!

Stopped in for dinner with my wife and we were pleasantly surprised. I got the smash burger and it was great. It was juicy and cheesy.

My wife got the Ramen bowl and that was also very good. Buyer beware though, the broth is a mushroom base and kind of dominates all of the other flavors. But we love mushrooms and it was great.

Was an outstanding experience here. My friend and I went with our children and we were all pleased. The food was outstanding and the service was exemplary. I recommend to anyone to stop by and have food here. Their Cajun Shrimp appetizer is to die for.

Absolutely great experience. One of the best places to eat in muskegon! and our waitress Shea was amazing. 100/10 recommend!

We have been here a handful of times. We have always been seated immediately and gotten our food quickly. We love everything we have ordered. Last week we got the French dip and Chopped Italian sandwiches with their flat fries. All so good. Their fries are always on point. Drink service is great. We will keep going back!

Just keep having excellent experiences here. Wet burrito special was fresh, hot and in all ways spot on. Shea, our server, is attentive and friendly without interfering or interrupting, a pro at all levels . House manager is available and responsive and acts like an old friend. We took a bit to warm up here but it’s quickly become our first choice for nights downtown! Lead on Carlisle’s!

I was visiting Muskegon with a friend and am so glad we came to this restaurant. My server, Mika, and my hostess, Sunshine, were the most hospitable and friendly people that I met in this community. I have never had a hostess come check on me and my party after handing off to the table server. They were incredible. The food was SO delicious. I am coming back here.

The staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. Steak and cheese, smash burger, French dip and Buffalo wrap! Rebekah was amazing!!!

Very prompt service. All employees were very friendly and attentive. Great food!! Also loved the pickle rye with shot of pickle juice. You don't find that many places..will be back!

It’s a cute Little spot. They had a couple people playing live music outside. We stopped in to get a shot with our daughter for her 21st birthday. We order the Short & Stout & the Breakfast Shot. The Short & Stout was very smooth & yummy. The Breakfast shot was exactly that! Breakfast! Very tasty.
I cannot comment on food but we saw the fish and want to come back for it!

we stopped in today for a snack to hold us over before a dinner reservation elsewhere, it has been a while since we'd been in and I forgot how good their food is! we just shared a plate of nachos and each had an n/a beer, it was perfect. the nachos were dreamy. service was great too, we'll be back soon!

They never let me down here!
I've eaten here several times, brought several different friends here, and every time it's a home run! I've had salads, apps, sandwiches, fish n chips, burgers, cocktails..... It's ALL good! Definitely would recommend the fish n chips!!
The fare is casual, but the restaurant itself is a step above that. It's not stuffy, but it's still classy while letting you feel totally chill like you're at home with your friends.
The service is exceptional. Love sitting at the bar - the bartenders are great. The outdoor seating is also a great vibe with good service.
The restaurant is actually connected to the Muskegon Timberwolves hockey arena, so if you are at the restaurant you could catch a practice or game. This is just one of those all around great places that you can always count on, where everyone can find something on the menu they'll like, and the food and service will always be good.

Dip N Crunch Double Smashburger with some Fish and Chips and Bud Lights. 5 stars, great service, Veronica and team took great care of us. We really enjoyed our food and would recommend the smashburger for anybody looking for a crazy burger experience in the Muskegon area.

We've been here several times and are always impressed. Food is much better than you would expect from a bar in a hockey rink.

First time dining here Friday night. Six of us. Great food, outstanding service. Mika was our server she did an outstanding job. Very attentive and courteous. We will be back again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food and drinks were very good and such a great price. (I got the smash burger and my boyfriend got the Buffalo chicken wrap) Our server, Shea, was really friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been to a lot of places and had many sandwiches. This fish sandwich is second to none. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, the menu is creative, and you can’t beat the smell of the ice at the adjoining rink. We will be back!

Fantastic food, service, and music. We came in on a quiet weeknight, but the food was still prompt and surprisingly creative.
The wings came out with a nice dry rub, with sauce on the side. They put their own spin on the buffalo sauce and the chili Fresno sauce was surprisingly complex.
The fish and chips was phenomenal, probably some of the juiciest fried fish I've had in a while. The tartar sauce was packed with flavor, very dill forward.
