The biggest hand dipped onion rings I have ever seen !!! My bacon cheeseburger was the best. Kudos to the chef

First time here from Rockford. This place had some of the best food I've had in a while, besides my own, of course. 🤣

Great family friendly restaurant. Awesome food great prices! Bringing it back to its original glory with a little new age flair!! Home made pastries, pies and cakes made from scratch daily by an on site baker. Specials running every day!! You gotta check this place out!! Running train all thru the upper dining area is a fun attraction for all ages!! Long time staff love their customers here and get to know you by name!! Must visit to get the history associated with its long time running since 1980s!!

Wife and I were passing through Grant (1/19/22) and decided to stop here for lunch. It was fairly busy but we were promptly seated and served. Waitress was friendly. Loved the decor. Food was as expected and good. The onion rings were HUGE! We definitely did not expect the onion rings to be fresh and that good. Will be returning for sure.

Amazing food and great service! Was seated very quickly and helped right away. Food was served within 25-35 minutes even though it was swamped. The pancakes were absolutely amazing and by far my favorite. Would definitely recommend. This is one of my favorite places.

My family has been coming to this restaurant for years. It's absolutely fabulous! It's got cool history, good food, and wonderful people. The fried pickles are the best I've ever had.

Antique train depot made restaurant. Family homestyle food and atmosphere. Never had a bad meal. The homemade bread for sandwich or toast I'd amazing.

I don’t live in Grant. If I did I would be there more often. I go with friends at least two times a year and every time we went, there was nothing to complain about. We usually go after 1:00. We are able to visit each other and stay awhile without getting dirty looks from the wait staff. Love this place!

Had heard good things about the Depot but never tried it. My wife and I were very happy with the food, they were quick with our drinks, patient as we were a bit slow ordering and food came quickly. Our waitress was very good checking on us to make sure we were happy with the food and checking on drinks. The price was fair.

I order pies about a month ago and they were very accommodating when our plans had changed and we needed to pick them up earlier and they had them ready and fresh, we ate their a couple of times and the food has always been delicious. The stafff was very helpful with all the confusion about the pies . As we our from Indiana and since our plans change we were heading home earlier , Thanks for always be friendly and helpful

If you love pickles you need to go in order deep fried pickles they are amazing they are huge they are so worth the money. My best friend and I used to go in the fall and and drive the back roads and we always ended up at the Depot for pickles I miss her.

Love this restaurant. The caboose burger was amazing, and my husband loved his Reuben sandwich as well. I liked the seasoned fries! The desserts and pies looked delicious. Will definitely go back.

Always a must to stop here when in town great food awesome staff and great atmosphere to be around! The fried pickles are a must! Best ones I have ever had.

It was a busy Sunday morning, and we were waiting extra long to order with 3 kiddos. The owner was great about it and gave us a discount and free dessert.

My family and I go here every year after going to church’s Christmas tree farm and we always go for the fried pickles and train going around the top, best fried pickles that i have ever had and always love going here!

Excellent food and affordable prices. The building history is unique. The parking lot could uses some new stripes. I would highly recommend!

Great place. This place has historical significance in Grant.
Not that the food was not amazing cause it was but the fact that they're preserving this historical landmark along with if as much as they can of the equipment is priceless.
