Sally’s Family Restaurant & Whatta Pizza

Was disappointed when my burrito show up to the table. It was 1/4 the size of my past burrito purchases. Then the waitress just up and left ys sitting there to pay our bill. Building needs up dating. My wifes dinner only came with 2 small pieces of fish.

My dad used to stop there and pick up cinnamon rolls on our way up to Baldwin for deer season. It’s a old fashion family restaurant with good home cooking. Now my wife and I stop in usually every Saturday morning and sit in our favorite booth. I love the ham & cheese omelette and she loves the stuffed hash browns crispy on both sides. Service is great.

The Friday night fish fry was amazing! The fish was cooked perfectly with a light crispy batter. My son got the chicken nugget basket. They were actually home cut chicken chucks with a nice batter. Some of the best I've had. The staff was friendly and good at there jobs. We will be back for sure.

Had amazing hand made food. I had biscuits and gravy. The gravy was homemade and the best I had in years. My traveling partner had a burger she swore was the best she had in years as well. The staff was friendly, the place is old but they keep it clean. I look forward to my next visit.

very friendly place the food was home made i had homemade meat loaf potato veggie and homemade peach cobbler it was very yummy

Oh the owner manager was the sweetest woman I've ever met. The pumpkin bread is the die for and dinner was amazing. The pudding she makes with her homemade pumpkin bread is the most amazing dessert I've ever had. The staff were too very well and made sure that you were happy and had everything you needed and checked on you just enough but not too much where it was an annoyance. I will be spending every Sunday from here on out eating there it was amazing.

My picky pregnant wife approved of the wrap she ordered. The deep fried mushrooms were just right and the shrimp was fresh. It's not a super pretty place but I would come back again and again.

The staff are always friendly to my family and I. We have a lot of kids and they have a fun time. I enjoy their fresh & hot pizza. The salad bar was fresh when asked for more they brought more out. I'd prefer to order from menu than the hot buffet. Sometimes the food is so so but mostly good if you let them know what's wrong. To be honest we had under cooked chicken before and asked them to remake. The meatloaf isn't that great to me. I'd love to share them my recipe. Corn on the cob was over cooked and the hot buffet mashed potatoes & gravy just didn't taste good to me, maybe it sat too long. But I'll still come back to support our local businesses and for more pizza, which is better than Maike's in my opinion.

These people don't mess around with their food! Everything is top notch and 5 star quality! I very highly recommend the vegetable beef soup. You can taste the love it's made with! It's too bad I can only give the 5 Google stars. Between the food and outstanding staff 5 seems like far too little to give them.

I had to kill some time this morning and I was told Sally's was a nice place with good food and reasonable prices. I got more than that
the food was very good, I had eggs, toast and corn beef hash

They were so nice it was like I was eating with family.
I am moving to the area so they will be seeing me again.

The building may be run down, but a true restaurant is in the cleanliness and safe food handling practices of the knowledgeable and loyal staff. The food is awesome and budget friendly, and you can meet many of the movers and shakers of the Newaygo County community. The locals know where the place to eat is when in White Cloud, MI.

I've been coming to Sally's for over 30 years! Not a fancy place,but always have good home cooked food and great waitstaff! Good prices and large portions. If you don't like foo foo restaurants,then this is the place for you!

Old fashioned cheddar cheese burger..hand pattied. Delicious!! Friendly and very attentive staff! One of our new favorite travel finds😊

One of the best experiences about visiting white cloud. Every time I drive thru there I have to stop there. If you love draft root beer and cinnamon rolls you're in luck. They have growlers of root beer and enormous cinnamon rolls.

my wife and i stopped in for dinner saturday. $10 for ayce bbq ribs and a mile long soup and salad bar. the ribs were great, fall off the bone tender. the items on the salad bar were fresh and tasted great. our server was really
nice and took great care of us. i like fresh brewed ice tea but they only had the brix mix tea, so she brought me a large cup of ice and a hot tea pot so i could have fresh brewed ice tea. awesome job of her to solve my need for tea (:

Absolutely LOVE this place. Food is good and the staff is so amazing. Awesome little mom and pop place where everyone knows everyone. We stop every Thursday and feel at home every time.

Sallys restaurant has been sold but is open under new management the new owner has worked there for years as a waiter she very nice she is putting a lot of new idea and being back old idea so please if u are in white cloud and are hungry stop in and eat plus if there suggest to make thing better with the food she want to know the cook is new there and she want the place to be great

Their food is always good but they were out of all fish and of course that's what I wanted. Lol

I give Sally's 5 stars. The biscuits and gravy are at the top. On a full order you get 4 full biscuits not 2 cut in half. So if you are looking for great biscuits and gravy Sally's is the place to go.

I give 5 stars, people say its run down and doesnt measure up to the way it used to be and personally I understand there are a few changes to be made as with anything there can ALWAYS be improvements to be made, however I noticed that they have indeed been making those changes little by little and I understand like everyone else should that it will take time to bring it back to it's full potential as the best home cooking in town however it all starts with us as customers to not give up our faith in this family style restaurant, please show us your love and support, if u got a bad order or weren't 100% pleased with your experience I strongly recommend leaving a polite and friendly critical suggestion on a napkin or piece of paper on what we can do to improve your experience, and then the next time u come you can see for yourself issues ARE being worked out, please dont be so quick to give a bad review publicly because you never know who is working that day could have just lost a beloved family member or got evicted from their home and not enough business coming in so they cannot afford to take the day off. Everyone makes mistakes now and again and you wouldnt give up on family, and that's what we are, all a family, everyone that comes in we consider additions to our family and would love to see your faces again, let us get to know you so we can give u the service you desire. Lastly can I just say the pizza I had last night was mouthwatering and beautifully put together, I dont think I could've possibly done a better job myself! ;)
