TJ Sushi & Steak House

I loved everything about this place! My rolls were unbelievably good (and for a price you couldn’t even make them for at home). The server was professional and attentive. I think this is my new favorite place to grab sushi in the Fox Cities! Thank you to the TJ’s team for working so hard in a time when owning a restaurant is almost impossible. Delicious!

Never had a bad experience here. Food is always amazing. Service was fast each time we've gone. The sushi comes out looking like art. THE BEST fried rice in town and also some the best curry I've ever had. Haven't done the hibachi as it was closed (I think because of COVID) but you can still order off of the hibachi menu if you'd like - which was also good.

Delicious food and fast service. I ordered the Blue Punch mixed drink, chicken pad Thai, chicken drunken noodle, tuna nigiri, and smoked salmon nigiri.

All the food was great. The service was very good. They could use some music or something for background noise. The restaurant looks very nice inside. They just opened back up on Friday so they didn’t have all options available. And there’s no hibachi tables because they don’t have that type of cook. But I ordered hibachi as my meal and it was perfect. The WI roll was the best! Even better than the TJ roll. I highly recommend the place!

This place is beautiful, and delicious. I couldn’t be more happy with our food and the experience. The sushi was fresh and delicious, the hibachi was delicious and the lobster was a favorite.

I ordered sushi for pickup the first time since COVID. I have to say their sushi is always good. Will be back when they open their restaurant for dine in.

We returned and had a dinner. The menu is online. There is QR code on the table where you can scan to load the menu using your phone. Sushi was good. Food came out quickly. We enjoyed our dinner.

Absolutely insane. Had the sushi boat for two and it was the best sushi either of us have ever had. Fresh, flavorful, buttery. generous portions, beautiful presentation. I feel dazed and confused that the best sushi I’ve ever had is from Appleton, WI. I didn’t even know it could be this good. Caught myself smiling after every bite - cannot make this up.

This was our first time n definitely wont be our last. Service was very good. Presentation and food quality was spot on. Everything was delicious , perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend trying them if you haven't.

Nice decor and clean table areas. Sushi was well above average as well as our apps. Service lest some to be desired but still would recommend.

Had a great meal at TJ with family. Had a few appetizers, drunken noodles with chicken, and an assortment of sushi rolls (black dragon, amazing, Wisconsin were the best).

My 3rd time goinging there, twice within a week. Super fast service and the best quality seafood/sashimi. 10/10 would recommend for people who like more classic simple sushi as opposed to fancy roll. However there rolls are good too I have only tried 3 because the chefs choose sashimi is to die for.

Best sushi, Thai, and hibachi in the area...not even debatable. This place has amazing food. Not a lot of servers, so it can get slow. But, well worth any wait.

All of the following is phenomenal: atmosphere, lighting, menu, taste of food, sushi, service, wait time for food, cleanliness of bathroom and restaurant. Prices are good for a place like this. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back.

The food, service, and atmosphere here is always great and consistent, but when we usually come here (during the day, around 4) and it's always very dead. I worry a little about this place because it's one of our favorites and I don't want to see it go. So if you're reading this and having been here, go and give it a try!

Love the Black Dragon Roll & the Hibachi. The Filet Mignon is delicious & so is the fried rice! We come all the time as a family & love it! Staff is so friendly & always so on top of things! Thank you for a wonderful meal every-time we come!

We ended up here after our original sushi place was a 2.5hr wait. You tell they were a little short staffed, but who isn’t right now? No big deal. We waited at the bar until a table was ready. I don’t remember his name, but the bartender ended up also being our waiter after he noticed we hadn’t been helped for a bit after being seated. He did a fantastic job. Knew the menu, was very professional, great attitude, and was fun to chit chat with. As far as the good- all good, no complaints or issues. 10/10 would come back no problem.

I've never been much of a sushi fan but I met a friend here for lunch and it was really good...would definitely come back!
