El Tio Restaurant

This is a great Mexican restaurant near the green giant! If you are nearby, get yourself over to El tio for some lunch or dinner. They have great cheese dip, salsa was tasty and mild, good for the kids. Standard menu items abound and they even have a vegetarian section. Great beans to boot. I will be back the next time I am near blue earth.

Very authentic. This is not Taco Bell. You can actually taste the corn tortillas when you order enchiladas. My mom and I went for lunch on my last visit from Phoenix and I will definitely be going again. Perhaps the fajitas or burritos next time? Not super cheap but definitely worth a visit.

Me and my boss went here cause it was the only non fast food restaurant open after 5. Don't know if it was us being super hungry, but the food was excellent. The queso dip appetizer was excellent. He ordered the steak fajitas and I ordered the seafood chimichangas. The only issue was my boss asked for a side of shredded cheese and they looked at him funny when he asked and when they brought it to him. Other than that everything was great.

Love this place, food is excellent, service is great, AND, they a pet friendly on the patio, so Snoopy got to have lunch with me!!

Not a very big restaurant, only about a dozen tables. The chips were homemade and we're on the thick side but were good. The accompanying salsa was good as well. We had the 4 enchiladas. The plate came with 4 enchiladas; lettuce, sour cream & tomatoes on top. The plate also had rice & beans. The plating was very nice and the serving was very large. Would definitely recommend this place to eat.

Had a good time there and the lunch special was good! Well seasoned tender steak. Wish I would have gotten double meat tho.

Mexican food is always so good and El Tio was as good as we'd hoped. I had the lunch chimichanga and I never wanted it to end, maybe should have gotten the dinner option. Of course the kids enjoyed their plain quesadillas as well. Highly recommend trying any flavor of Jarritos soda!

Fantastic food, friendly service and a great atmosphere! Nicely priced meals as well. Now my new favorite place to eat in the blue earth, mn area!

The Tortas are amazing. I like the pork. This is almost enough for 2 meals!

First time ever here and I have lived in the area for over 10 yrs! Absolutely amazing! It was so good we gave the cook a 5 dollar tip❤❤❤❤

This is my favorite lil place ever! Their rice and salsa is amazing! When I moved off to college I would ALWAYS make it a point to stop here at El tios when I was visiting Blue Earth. Now I live out of state it’s 12:54 am Christmas Day and all I really want is El Tios. The family works so hard, everytime I would stop in there was a lil boy in there working / helping his family, you really don’t see that work ethic from an 8 year old. They’re all awesome. Love this place
