Mixed Company - A Kava House

This place was so cute and adorable! I love the opportunity to buy local crafts around the shop. Not a ton of seating, but the atmosphere was lovely. The three ladies behind the counter were super helpful with the menu (delicious sandwiches) and were super charismatic and funny. The coffee hit the spot too!

If we paid for the smiles and great service this would have been the most expensive coffee place. Their welcoming friendly service makes you feel like family.
A standout place to sit back enjoy coffee, pastries, food during lunch or breakfast; just superb.

If in the Cuyuna area, this stop should be a must. Chill and relax with nice beverages and conversation. I loved it.

Coffee was very good and the breakfast sandwiches and baked goods extremely tasty. First visited in 2020 while traveling and recently stopped by while again in town...you will not be disappointed.

Super cute place! The breakfast burrito was delicious, and the ham and egg bagel was good period the cinnamon honey latte was awesome. Exclamation would highly recommend period the staff was great too.

This place is absolutely fabulous! What an all-American, Midwestern treasure! This small, locally-owned coffee shop is quaint and cozy, incorporating not only amazing, made-to-order coffee, but sandwiches (lunch and breakfast), and ice cream as well. It is decorated with all of the knickknacks and all of the uniqueness of my own home. Just when you think that you've seen everything, you'll come upon areas with hand-made jewelry and t-shirts that are awesome! I just fell in love with this cute, homey little place and it wouldn't feel right to not mention it after taking a trip to Crosby, Minnesota!! If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend that you check it out!

This is an excellent coffee shop. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and they have great coffee. They also sell gifts and other items. Make sure to stop if you’re in Crosby. I love their breakfast items as well.

I’m from out of town, desperately looking for a coffee one morning and didn’t want to drive out of my way for a Caribou. I happened across this welcoming shop and I was so glad I did. Their coffee was delicious! And their muffins were divine. If I am ever in the area again, I will stop there- no doubt about it! ☕

Great place to get a delicious coffee or breakfast. Go here every year for family's coffee order in the morning, and they don't disappoint.

We needed a place for coffee and pastries for a small group after a funeral with only one days notice. Mixed Company was very gracious and accommodating. When we arrived they had a table set up with a yummy platter of mixed bars and coffee. Some of our party had ice cream and all said it was excellent. Thanks to all the gals at Mixed Company

I have had breakfast and coffee here multiple times and they have never failed me. My go to is a sausage breakfast burrito and for coffee, I go with an iced Turtle. The staff is always friendly and polite. I am absolutely O.K. with waiting for my coffee and burrito (which has never been too long) because they always come out fantastic. When I have to move from Crosby for work, I will wholeheartedly miss this place.

My favorite spot to gran coffee and a snack on the way home from the cabin. Their dark roast is probably one of the best I've had. They have a great selection of bakery and other items to.
I also noticed they have an ice cream spot, we will have to stop in soon for cones. Staff is always friendly and helpful too.

LOVE Mixed Company - the BEST caramel rolls and coffee around. Their veggie grilled cheese on cranberry wild rice bread?! Don't even get me started. Plus, their staff is amazing!

Great coffee shop in Crosby. I have had lattes here where the milk was frothed perfect 8 out of 10 times. For BFE I'll take it. Good cinnamon rolls, neat little nick nacks that any grandma would love to look at. Far better than the coffee at Starbucks (support local!) And much closer than driving to Brainerd.

A wonderful gem in the middle of Crosby serving coffee, tea, smoothies, pastries, breakfast, sandwiches and ice cream. You will never come across a more friendly group of people who serve up better food and beverages. I always have a difficult time trying to decide what to order when I am here because there are so many amazing choices on the menu. The 4Berry smoothie is one of the best smoothies I have ever tasted and the Peach Apricot Pear Smoothie is really good as well. I also highly recommend trying the Ham, Egg and Cheese on an Everything Bagel. The flavor combination of that sandwich is absolutely out of this world. I look forward to trying many more of their options in the future and you should too.

Mixed Company is a must go to when in the Cuyuna Lakes area. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly. I have had their soups, sandwiches, wraps and pastries, all are fabulous! Love the variety of brewed coffees and my staple, the Vanilla Latte. Kid friendly atmosphere and my kids love to visit for smoothies and ice cream! We are a frequent customer!

It is so nice now days to walk into a business and get greeted with a smile and how are you today! The Kava House is just that!! What a wonderful business to have in the area. Need a little something to eat, great food and awesome coffee. My kids love the atmosphere!
Also a nice little place to get gifts.
