GrandStay Residential Suites Hotel Faribault

I travel for work and the kitchens and having a living room type area is a game changer for us. We stayed here for several weeks throughout last year and this year for a week at a time and having room to cook and live a bit while away from home was so nice. My entire crew loved staying here and the staff has been amazing each time we have stayed.

The location is right off 35. Large parking lot. Greeted as we came in and we were able to check in early. Our room was clean, had great lighting. A kitchen with desk/table, living room, and separate bedroom with outlets in lamps, Large TV and closet in bedroom. Beds comfortable. Great bathroom. The coffee maker is single serve. In morning go down for breakfast/coffee. Sorry we did not get to use pool/hot tub. Spent time with friends. Kudos to Teresa for making you feel welcome. She is training a new employee who will follow her lead. Oh the Faribault community is fun to explore.

We were in town for Carleton College's family weekend (the hotel is about a 15 minute drive away). While the hotel is a bit dated, I can say without hesitation that I would recommend it. The bed was really comfortable; the two TVs were effortless to figure out (hallelujah!); two reading lights on either side of the bed (hallelujah!); shower that was not complicated (hallelujah!); the wifi was strong .... We had stayed at a fancy, trendy place in Minneapolis which was darker than dark, had no reading lights, and had a modern shower that required a maintenance worker to help us figure it out. I was much more comfortable and satisfied at the GrandStay in Faribault.

We stayed here for a wedding. The room had a kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable. The motel was not very far from the wedding. The staff were super friendly.

My family volunteers at the Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary in Faribault, we always love staying at the Grand Stay hotel when we are in town. It's convenient, cozy, well maintained and the staff is always so kind. The rooms are also very nice and cozy. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We made Grand Stay Faribault our temporary home when our living room ceiling collapsed one night at midnight. We were tired and kind of shocked, but the employee who helped us get checked in was reassuring and welcoming. Throughout our long stay, everyone at Grand Stay has been so helpful and friendly - from management to desk clerks to maintenance to housekeeping. Answering questions, making sure we knew about all the amenities, being encouraging. The 2 bedroom suite was pretty perfect for our needs with the kitchenette (seriously, even the fast food lovers got sick of eating out). This has been a very challenging time, but we remind ourselves that no one got hurt and we have a safe place to stay while our home gets repaired. We are thankful for the team at Grand Stay. Whether you come to town for fun, for work, or you need somewhere to stay during emergency home renovations, you can be confident Grand Stay Faribault is a good choice.

My family and I have stayed at the Faribault Grandstay many times over the years, when we come into town to visit family. The quality of the rooms and overall service is consistently good. The rooms are always clean and spacious. I always get that positive, "this feels good and comfortable" feeling when I walk into the room for the first time - like I can just put my stuff down and relax. The staff have always been friendly and helpful as well.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were told that my reservation was made for the following week, not this week! I was mortified as we were there for a death in the family. The desk clerk resolved it immediately, assured me it happens more than you think, and we were

Went for a wedding the rooms and public areas clean. The staff is kind and seems to really like their jobs.

The hotel was wonderful! Very clean. My room was so clean even the carpet looked like something I would let my grandbabies play on! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. the pool area was nice and warm very large and fun for the kids. I highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel! The room was spacious and clean. Reasonable rate too.
Only 2 complaints if you can call them that. The blanket was too thick and heavy for my taste. Better than the usual thin blankets at most hotels though, and the breakfast was a little sparse. Once again, it was good but less than the usual spread at other places.

Great stay! Rooms are so convenient for family by having a door to shut for the bedroom. Connie and all the staff at front desk were so friendly and helpful - treated us like family. Great pool and hot tub!

The rooms are incredibly clean. It's nice to have a separate bedroom for a little added space. Breakfast is also pretty good.

I was totally impressed with the rooms. It was nice to have the bedroom separated from the living room. The kitchen was great. Nice to have a full size fridge and burners to cook on. All in all my stay was fantastic! I will be back! Thank You!

Unusual circumstances that we needed to make a room change from a single bedroom for a two bedroom. Also maybe a delay in checkout depending on surgery recovery. ALL was accomplished without any problems. That being said we did not have any concerns except the medical procedure that day. THANK YOU for your great service.

I love this place! The room was great! Staff was great! I loved the jacuzzi tub in our room, bed was comfy and the full kitchen was a plus! Although we didn’t use it, they have a pool and a kiddie pool, game room, basketball hoop outside with a swing set. My only complaint was the living room TV would lose Internet. We will be going back every few months just to have a night away.
