Great place to go with family and friends! The food way amazing and there was a large menu to chose from, there's something for everyone here! I personally had stuffed waffle with cinnamon and maple and it was the bomb! Our waitress was also super friendly and peppy, the right kind of energy I need to start my day off right! We did wait a while for our food but our server made it up to us by bringing out a homemade cinnamon roll which I realized after eating it that we would have totally missed out if we didn't get one. I'll definitely be returning here soon and I won't forget the cinnamon roll next time!!!

Cooks Cafe is a Bethany staple and is exactly One mile south of the old location. Located at 333 North Cotner Blvd Cooks Cafe is in my top five list for breakfast choices. Access is generally readily available with good parking and abundant seating both inside and out. The menu is broad and covers traditional favorites. Service is excellent, YES these folks care and do a fine job. Prices are more than fair. A coffee/Ice Cream shop appears to be in the works and is to be adjacent to Cook’s Cafe. What more could anyone ask for!!!!

The best place for breakfast in Lincoln. I can't say enough good things here. Great food, great service, fair prices.

Try the cinnamon coffee. Really good.

I would highly recommend adding blueberries to your pancakes or French toast.

I also highly suggest adding the works to the incredible hash browns.

Bacon is is thick and tasty and meaty. Get some bacon.

I love the atmosphere. Not fancy. Just perfect.

More food than you can eat.

I highly suggest you go have breakfast here. I hate being so positive because there is usually a wait already and this won't help, but the haigh praise is warranted. Among the best breakfasts I have ever had at a cafe.

First time here and it was great. I love the multiple options for breakfast sandwiches - I got the sunny way and it was fantastic. Server was nice and attentive. Will definitely come again.

I didn't know they moved over here. The place they're in now is really nice and I mean really nice!. I don't remember how their food was when they were on North 66th but here is pretty darn good!

Today I tried a western omelette and oh boy was the ham pretty chunky! I now feel like this is how a western omelette should be made! For the side I did their country potatoes and they were pretty bomb too. Will definitely be coming back!

The stuffed waffles and chicken and waffles here are absolutely incredible. I love to order the banana and Nutella one, and the bananas are literally stuffed within the waffles. 🧇 We arrived at 12:30pm for lunch and got seated immediately. If we arrived earlier, we would have to wait about 30-40 minutes. Score!

This was my first time here. I've been all over Nebraska, and have eaten breakfast. I'm so picky when it comes to my eggs. I say "scrambled well, no running stuff, and not brunt. Every restaurant is different, but never right. Cook's was awsome. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. It was busy!! But everything was quick. The waitress brought me my Chicken fried steak and eggs. I looked at the eggs with a 😁. Put pepper on everything, took a bit of my eggs OMG they were awesome. I ate all my eggs 1 st!! Thank you, Cook's it was the best breakfast ever.

Food was AMAZING, we had to wait little over 30 minutes for a table of three. It was our first time so we didn't know we could call ahead to be put on the wait list. Service was slow only due to lack of I believe, but we're very good.
My two friends had the chicken fried steak breakfast. I had French toast platter with a side of country potatoes. Absolutely great!!!! Got an order of the stuffed French toast for my husband to go. He loved it. Highly recommend. Call ahead.

The food and service was amazing! The owner takes a lot of pride in the food he serves, the prices were great, and our server was fantastic. 5 stars!

Yummy! Love their blueberry and cream cheese french toast. On my last visit, I enjoyed a ham and cheese omelet, fluffy pancakes, crispy hashbrowns and crispy bacon. No wait on a weekday around 11 am. Lovely waitress.

Cooks café is absolutely an awesome hidden gEm!! they only stay open till 2 o’clock, so don’t sleep in! The food is plenty. The prices are very decent! The people are nice the food taste and looks wonderful!! but again, they only stay open till 2 o’clock in the afternoon every day!

Best breakfast around. I wish I could go here every day. Any menu item will be great but I try to get the stuffed French toast before it sells out.

This is a hidden gem in Lincoln. Great customer service and atmosphere. Everything was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, as if it were made in your own kitchen. One of the waitresses came up to my son and gave him a silver dollar coin explaining one of her long time customers leaves them for her to hand out to the kids. How thoughtful and unexpected! We will be coming back soon.

Great experience today. I was greeted as I came in, the waitress made a great cold brew with the additions I wanted, the omelette was wonderful, and the experience is a great value for the cost. I was able to do some work quietly and enjoy a good meal. I look forward to coming back!

This place is amazing. Servers were in the job, the establishment was clean, vibes were right and most important next to service... The food was mm! I can't wait to go again so I can try it some other items in the menu. Breakfast and more. So far so good. Highly recommend Cooks!

The food was amazing and brought out quick! There are 2 types of coffee the serve, and both were delicious! We didn’t have a wait because we went early, but it got busy pretty quick.

The food and service was definitely worth any wait. Our coffee was constantly filled(which made us all very happy) and the servers were friendly and helpful. The food was awesome as well. Definitely will be back!!

After our visit to Marsh Wren Community Wetlands: breakfast was in order. Our server Ellie was bright and Cheery, and professional. Cooks Cafe is the epitome of home and comfort foods. My first time in their gorgeous new location! We were lucky 🍀 and seated right away ( heard there can be a waiting line ). Even better than I remembered, I’m glad we landed here on a wonderful day in paradise. 🫡
