Heavens Up North Campground

Nice private campground! Great bathrooms and lots of amenities. Good access to state trails.

Great place. Lots of activities for all ages. Had a terrible storm while we were there. Everyone lost power for days. But they came around and made sure everyone was okay. We will be back for sure.

What a great campground for the family! The new owners are focused on making every camper feel at home. Lots of family oriented activities for all ages. We camped here previously and the experience was not even as close to as good as this time. Staff is very professional and focused on making sure your stay is comfortable. Not sure how anyone could give less than 5 stars, should be a 10! Give them a try! You wont be disappointed!

Great campground! The new owners are amazing!! They made sure that we had everything that we needed. They planned so many fun activities over the Memorial Day weekend. It was a blast. We rented one of their campers. Very clean and fully stocked with kitchen supplies. Already made reservations to come back.

We stayed in the red roof cabin, which is a rustic 1-room building. It comes with ac and a fan, so was very comfortable in the 90 degree weather. There was also a mini fridge and a microwave, which were unexpected but very welcome. The camp itself is small and run by a family. They were very helpful and nice and kept their facilities very clean. We will be back!

This is a very family friendly campground. The new owners are definitely putting in their time into making this place our home away from home. Very friendly and approachable people that go out of their way to ensure our needs are met. To give them less than 5 stars would be unacceptable. My kids can’t wait to go back!

I used to hate camping! We tried out HUN last year and I was not impressed with how things were run or taken care of. We love the area and when we heard there were new owners, we decided to give it another shot.
I am sure glad we did! The new owners have already made great improvements to the campground and added so many activities to the schedule it's impossible to be bored! Staff is so nice and accommodating that I hate having to go home. If you're looking for a family oriented campground in the beautiful Lakewood area, this is where you need to be!

Great family campground under new management. The new owners are fantastic always trying to make it a better and safer place for everyone! This weekend for Memorial Day was fantastic lots of activities where planned and everyone had fun! We love all that they are doing to make for a great experience!

We were one of four families who stayed at Heavens Up North over the Fourth of July. The facility was clean and felt like camping (plenty of privacy and wooded area). We loved it.
They had a Bloody Mary bar one day. A bags tournament another. The pool was clean and plenty big. The kids loved the playground. We’ll be heading back again this year, and can’t wait!

This year Heaven's Up North Campground has amazing new owners!! The Heil family( Wendy, Cody, Brittney, Skyler, and Kelcey) are the breath of fresh air we have been waiting for! They have brought back the family fun and entertainment we were lacking for years and are diligently working on many new upgrades and improvements on the campground! Memorial days was a blast and we hated having to leave! They always go the extra mile to make sure everyone had what they need and to make everything fun, Safe, and exciting! I can't wait to see what the rest of the summer brings! Everyone should come for a weekend...I guarantee it Won't be your last!

We stayed in the red roof cabin. It was a great time with all the fall colors. We enjoyed this place. The couple who run it were very friendly and made the stay worthwhile. The showers and bathroom were very clean. We will be back! Thanks for a great vacation!

I highly recommend this campground. The owners were very accommodating and made us feel welcome. That they take personal interest in their guests and seasonal campers is obvious. The attention to detail in everything they do is impressive and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They make the environment fun for families and couples alike. Besides that, the campground is well-maintained with tons of natural beauty as it’s located in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest. If you’re planning a trip near Lakewood, look no further!

We’d like to thank the new owners of Heaven’s Up North for a fantastic weekend. The events were well planned and brought all campers together for a very positive experience. Great Campground and staff they made us feel welcome. New owners have put in a lot of work and effort in making this a great camping destination. Activities for all ages keep everyone having fun durning the stay. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a camping trip.

OUTSTANDING place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Animal life is all over the place, surrounding campers are friendly and inviting. Owners, Heil Family are Top Notch and helpful, you can't go wrong staying here. Give it a shot and enjoy everything offered you will not be disappointed....

Couldn't be happier with this facility. The entire Heil family are amazing people. We rented their Green roof cabin for a weekend and loved the campground. We loved it so much that we bought a unit at heavens up north the following week. You will not be disappointed visiting this gem of the Northwoods!

We are going in our 4th year as a seasonal guest. This year by far has been the best to date. Wendy, Brittney, Kody, and Kelsey from the beginning made us feel like part of their family. All have gone above and beyond to make sure your experience at Heavens Up North, is memorable and you will be counting the days till you come back and enjoy a slice of Heaven. This campground is a family campground so be ready for the sounds of our future heard throughout the campground. There are plenty of activities to partake in, so upon arrival make sure to check out the rejuvenated lodge and check out all Heavens Up North has to offer for your families stay.

The new owners of Heavens Up North are simply amazing. There are activities for people of all ages. Very clean and surprisingly quiet even with a campground full of children. Excellent family oriented environment!!!

Great place. Busy. Clean pool, clean bathrooms though the showers didn't have warm water. Wood and ice are expensive so bring your own. Sites are nice and wooded, but expect to be close to your neighbors. Lots of permanent sites. Lots of machines.

Such a fun place to be at. Making crafts playing games of kids and adult bingo games almost every weekend, cornhole, horseshoe, minigolf, lots of kids to play with each other. Close to lakes, atv trails, bike trails, and hiking to adventure out on. Super clean facility with nice up to date bathrooms and lodge office that is all northwoods needs. Under new ownership that is TOP notch, and thats to the entire family making the campground safe and fun!! Super attentive to making sure everyone has what is needed and taken care of in timely manners. Family oriented campground that has both seasonal and nightly sites. Highly recommend!!
