I stayed at the Inn at Oxbow Acres for a work trip but my time here truly felt like a vacation. The inn is cozy and clean, and Maria is the most wonderful host – she even baked us fresh muffins ahead of our late work assignment. The breakfast and view of the sunrise were also incredible. If I am ever back in Milan I will stay there in a heartbeat and recommend to everyone!

I am not sure where to start, EVERYTHING was beyond expectations! Truly an experience we are still talking about to family and friends today. Our hosts, Brian and Maria were the most down to earth people we have met in a long time. Very accommodating, enjoyable to be with and top-notch when presenting what the Inn at OxBow Acres is and has to offer. We both now consider Brian and Maria friends for life! The other guests there we also fantastic. We enjoyed the conversations, laughter and stories each had to tell. Honestly welcoming people. You could not but help to just relax, be yourself and enjoy the location set perfectly amongst towns that breathed "welcome". Every person or group we met while there and traveling about, were just plain friendly and fun. HIGHLY recommend it to any person who wants a weekend that will change their perspective on human nature, GOOD PEOPLE do exist and it is at the Inn at OxBow Acres!!!

What a beautiful little Inn! Our goal in heading up this far north in New Hampshire was to drive through the White Mountains for some beautiful scenery, but it was a very rainy day, and the clouds were so low, we saw no scenery at all. Unfortunately, we only had one night to stay, but even though I didn't get my beautiful mountain views, this place alone was worth the trip. The home is so lovely and so beautifully decorated. The hosts are so warm and personable, and the breakfast the next morning was nicely prepared to order and very tasty. The only thing I would advise is if you are sensitive to noise choose a different room than the Carlo, as it is on the first floor, right off the main gathering room. Other than that, the room was so beautiful and the bed so comfortable! I am hoping to make my way up that way again!

A real find!!!!!!! Every once in a while in life - you receive the tremendous gift of experiencing people who are truly doing what they love / what they have been "called" to do. Maria & Brian are prime examples so it will be the best B & B experience!!! I highly recommend their place - the breakfast is excellent, the property is gorgeous and the bed is super comfy. If there were 10 stars to give, I would. This is the kind of place that will stay with you in your favorite B & B memories...I am so grateful for all Maria & Brian do as the precious gifts that they are to the world!!!!!

We have stayed here a few times in summer and in fall. Both of those times have been excellent in all aspects. Maria and her husband do a great job making you feel at home and providing anything you need to be comfortable. We will definitely be coming back in the years to come.

I cannot recommend the Inn at OxBow Acres enough! The property and the inn are both incredibly beautiful. We've just returned from our second stay, and "our" room is Cascade, which is cozy, comfortable, and has the loveliest details (I am also terribly fond of the deep bathtub with jets). What really stands out above all though, is the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Maria and Brian. We love staying here, and look forward to heading back again next fall! (I'll be talking about the French toast until then!) 😊

Just recently got married here! What a perfect location. Maria really makes you feel welcome and makes the best breakfast for the guest at the Inn. Now for the wedding, couldn’t have asked for a better location with some spectacular views. Maria helped out with everything coordinating where all the venders were going. She was very very very helpful in the whole process and couldn’t thank her and the hospitality she provided enough. I highly recommend you check it out! We will be back to enjoy everything Milan has to offer in the future. Thanks again Maria!!!

I have stayed at the Inn at OxBow Acres three times over the past year. Each stay has been great and it improves with each visit! The rooms are very comfortable, completely updated, and have all the amenities one would want. The great room, porch and dining room are terrific places to hang out and relax. The views are wonderful as is the entire property. A delicious breakfast in the morning will keep you full til dinner! The owners really know the area and have recommended hikes, shopping, where to see moose, eagles and other sights that make the area special. I highly recommend Oxbow for an event, a family holiday and a wonderful getaway!

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the The Inn at OxBow Acres. The peaceful setting with horses in the pasture, fresh eggs for breakfast and the warm hospitality was delightful. The only inconvenience is the lack of any dining nearby. We had a late lunch and brought some snacks so did not need to go back out for dinner. Maria was very pleasant and an awesome cook. Will visit again.

Maria and Brian have put a great deal of thought and care in putting together an jnn respite with warmth, tranquility and beauty in the middle the New Hampshire countryside. The rooms were five star, the wood throughout was craftsman quality, and the furnishing was warm and nurturing.
The food prepared by Maria reflected her caring personality and rivaled the best anywhere.
A true gem that you should experience.

Thank you so much, Maria & Brian, for having us! Everything about this place is gorgeous. We easily could’ve just sat on the back patio all day looking at the landscape - mountains, horses, wildflowers, fields. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. So much detail and thought went into each room. There’s a large menu and everything on it was delicious! Maria even bakes her own sourdough. If you’re looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is it. Just such a gorgeous property.

The Inn is comfortable and Maria and Brian are extremely customer service oriented. They had great advice on where to go and how to spend our time. The breakfast choices are excellent and Maria is a great cook. Loved staying at the inn.

I had the opportunity to spend two incredible days at the Inn at Oxbow Acres. Being from Southern California, the quaint town of Milan, NH was stunning and what a treat to wake up to the gorgeous surroundings of the Inn. We were treated like family by the owners, Maria and Brian. The Inn was extremely comfortable and the accommodations were second to none. We had daily breakfasts which in my opinion were some of the best I have ever eaten. Compliments to the Chef- Maria.

I had an adventure of a lifetime as Brian took me out on a canoe down the Androscoggin River. We spent a good part of the day enjoying the sights and sounds of the wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Overall, our stay was really an incredible experience. This big city fella was able to enjoy all the comforts of a small town and am looking forward to the next time we can stay at The Inn at Oxbow Acres. Thank you Maria and Brian.

This was a gem of a find!! The personal touch Maria gives this place is amazing! The hospitality we received from the second we arrived made us feel relaxed and comfortable like being home!! The place is all brand new, the decor is wonderful and that breakfast is nothing short of wonderful! Maria works hard to personalize your stay - from having water, coffee, or tea available to making breakfast at your designated time- it’s very quiet and the views!!! If you are ever in the area I highly recommend The Inn at Oxbow Acres!!

What a gem! Stayed here with my sister to do some shopping in the area and the location was perfect (so many antique / thrift / junk / vintage shops!). Beautiful countryside, the rooms are adorable, and breakfast was delicious. The hosts are so nice too! Highly recommend. Def hope to stay here again for future antique shopping / thrifting.

We stayed three nights at The Inn at Oxbow Acres. The owners were very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Quite the menu to pick from. Very accommodating. There were two things that could have made our stay a little better. There was not enough shelf space in the room and/or bathroom for our toiletries. Ended up having to keep the bags on the floor. It also seemed like the thermostat in our room did not work for the air conditioning. During the night it got quite warm, except the night we were able to sleep with the window open because it was nice out. Maybe it was us? We didn’t say anything about the ac. These two things will not prevent us from staying here again. We most likely will. Great B&B 😀 I recommend you stay here.

Our stay at the Inn at OxBow Acres was incredible! The inn itself was warm, inviting, and clean. The breakfast was delicious - highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes. Maria was super kind and accommodating - when we arrived, she gave us directions to the perfect sunset spot (and we even saw a moose). We had a fantastic experience and can't wait to go back!

We stayed for three nights at The Inn at OxBow Acres, and it was the perfect respite for Mia and I. The Inn is lovely, homey, and you can see the care they've put into each and every space in their home. Maria and Brian were wonderful hosts and were ready to accommodate our needs. They helped us pick a local dinner spot each night that didn't disappoint. We wanted to snow shoe and Maria gave us several different trails to explore. We also took a wonderful hike around their property that was refreshing after a storm dumped 6 fresh inches of snow. On our way out the door she told us to visit the Polish Princess in Lancaster. Even as we were heading home she provided another helpful suggestion. We can't wait to visit again! We will definitely be back!

The Inn is in a quiet rural location as a part of a farm. The rooms are lovely and clean, comfortable and spacious. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were great especially the sourdough bread. We only stayed 2 nights and wish it could have been longer.

Sorry it has taken me a bit to write this review. I have never stayed in a B&B before. When we arrived we were given the warmest welcome. The place is IMMACULATE. Our room was so clean and fresh, it was better than home.

We were up for a horse event and they have accommodations for keeping our horse. Turn out as well.

The breakfast was better than a restaurant. We were asked each night before what we would like. Maria had more choices than we could eat.

I want to thank both Maria and her husband for creating such a spectacular place.
