Cooper is still thriving under the wonderful care from this Vet and her employees! I'm so happy with this facility.
Right up to the very end they took such good care of him. Miss him way to much but would definitely go back again if or when I'm ready to get another pup.

Dr. Lidia first was very kind until she was to be cleaning my dogs teeth on July 28,2021 and said my dog’s teeth were fine when in fact my 12 year old Shetland Sheepdog had mouth cancer. This so called Veterinary physician does not care about her patients. On November 23, 2021 my dog Sophie died. After that I took Sophie in (1) week later and she said Sophie was just fine no worries.
Do not take your furry baby to her. She is in Tully, NY on Rt. 80.

Dr. Aris and the staff at Southern Hills Veterinary Hospital have been awesome with us from the first day we walked through the door! I used to bring my pups to a different vet before we moved to Tully, and I noticed such a difference when we started going to Dr. Aris. Not only were the prices much more reasonable, but I feel that everyone actually listens to my concerns, and they remember my pups and their temperaments. My little chihuahua mixes can be very difficult, but they have always been treated with compassion here. If you’re looking for a place to bring your furry family members, I highly recommend trusting the people at Southern Hills with their care.

Always love going here to have Dr. Aris look at our beloved pets. Never felt safer with them in her and her teams hands.

Lydia is a Godsend when it comes to veterinary care. She couldn't have made the experience better. My husband and I were both very grateful for her patience, compassion and care for Charlie. We know he's a handful and thanks to her we have a trainer coming to our house this Thursday to help us learn how to care for him. He's a Bernese Mountain dog with a lot of anxiety and fear. Our old vet wouldn't even see him and Lydia not only saw him, but was able to get 3 vaccines in him. So impressed!!!

I started bringing my dog to Southern Hills around summer of last year. It was an emergency surgery situation and I was a mess. I am so happy I brought her in because they took great care of her and she was like a brand new energetic dog. The staff are also very friendly and caring. I felt like they were going to miss my cute dog when I picked her up! You don’t find that type of care/environment everywhere so I would recommend Southern Hills to a friend and I already referred family.

We wanted a vet closer to home and are very satisfied with the service!

Lydia & staff have gone above and beyond for my 2 year old kitty. We appreciate all of the help and compassion that has been given to us over the past month. Being a pet owner can be so scary, but Lydia was very thorough and I felt super confident leaving my baby in her care!! Thank you again Lydia & staff. I appreciate you guys so so much!

One of the most challenging things about moving to a new state when you have 4 little dogs and 3 cats is finding a veterinarian (even before I find a primary care doctor). It did not take me long to call Dr Aris’s office….and we hit the ground running! I could NOT be happier than I am with the thorough care and attention to detail for our little dogs….(They are getting older and have complicated medical issues….Cushing’s and hypothyroidism….but Dr Aris makes it seem like it’s not that that complicated!). Not only do we love the new area we moved to…..but are so happy to have a excellent veterinarian for our little family!

Our dog Nellie wishes she had opposable thumbs to write this review, but alas I will have to type while she dictates to her posse:

"This place is amazing! Clean as could be but filled with those wonderful scents humans can't smell but just for us. They give you treats and rub your belly and scratch your ears while they blah-blah-blah with your humans. I was starting to feel my age but they took such good care of me while running some tests I didn't mind in the least. And they gave my humans some little treats they call medicine but I call delicious when they rub them in peanut butter each day. Get your humans to take you there as soon as possible!"

Human Mom adds this: Everything Nellie said is true. We could not ask for a more compassionate staff. They are concerned but realistic at the same time. I have never felt the pressure of "you're a bad person if you don't spend this money or do this procedure" that I have felt at other vets.
We, like Nellie, recommend them highly!

After years of veterinary visits with adopted cats finding Southern Hills Veterinary Hospital was a blessing! Dr. Aris and her staff were informative and showed genuine concern for my pet. Work was professional and costs were reasonable. You feel like you are part of the family! Would highly recommend Southern Hills to anyone who is looking for a great experience for their pet.

Southern Hills Veterinary is always willing to do what they can for our pet goats. I recommend that any goat owner have a vet on call to do fecals and other needed tests, even if you do your own vaccinations.

I have been a client for years. I have multiple pets some with long term challenges. The care has been phenomenal. The professionalism and compassion displayed by staff is what makes me a dedicated client.

Dr. Lydia is outstanding. She loves her job and is very empathetic towards the animals and their owners.

Love it here only stopped going because I moved. Prices are more than fair and dr Lydia is super sweet and always will find a way to get you in for an emergency!

Very thankful for Dr. Lydia and her staff, specifically Sarah. My husband and I were visitng family in upstate NY (six hours from home!) when our beloved chihuahua collapsed and stopped breathing. We called them since Dr. Lydia is my mother in law's vet. They immediately got our little boy in, and were amazing. My husband and I were very shaken up but Dr. Lydia was able to calm us down and help our pup. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and honestly. We were able to bring Brutus home with us, when I was really scared we wouldn't be able to. I credit Dr. Lydia for helping to keep our boy alive. He is now on a doggy heart med and doing well. Don't know what would have happened if we didnt have Southern Hills Veterinary Clinic! My husband and I are forever grateful!

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Southern Hills and their staff. Our dog absolutely loves Dr. Aris. She is very thorough and understanding; and also takes the time to explain things carefully. I'll never go anyplace else.
