Peabody Park

Such a beautiful park right on the Fox River with fishing and trails that go along the river and to the backside of Riverview Cemetery. They have a large child's play area, basketball hoops, covered pavilion with restrooms and bubblers. The park is clean and well maintained I love walking here!

My favorite thing about this park is the location. Right on the Fox River, not too crowded. Good swings for kids, plenty of shade, benches overlooking the river, basketball court, and trails make this a really nice park. One down side is no real parking but everything else makes up for it.

Beautiful place water definite change in tree colors a walk under the bridge and through some wooded areas. As a photographer I bring many clients here for photo shoots. It's beautiful. A play area right across from the pavilion is perfect for family gatherings, I've had several here. Just an all-around nice place to be outside.

Sweet serenity in a perfectly manicured setting. The walking trail is like an emerald road through thick woods. There's picnic grounds too. Cross the street and sit alongside the Fox River to complete the experience. I loved it!

This is slightly more fun than Telulah Park because there is a creek to walk in!

This is a nice park with a playset, hoops, pavilion and open grassy area. Located across the street from the Fox River. There are bathrooms but they are often locked.

Great park for the little ones! Lots of shade for picnics or relaxing.

Cannot get to cemetery through trail, unless there is more than one from the park. Was trying to see Kate Blood's headstone on a full moon 😳

Very nice park in a beautiful neighborhood. I went on a Thursday afternoon, and took a nice walk along the Fox River. Park has a nice playground for kids and lots of mature trees. Paved trail is great for biking. Interesting upscale homes nearby make for a nice walk.

Pretty little park on the north side of the north side of the Fox River. If you are coming from the Wisconsin Avenue direction, there is a nice dirt trail through a forested area that takes you down to the park. Its a short hike but you feel like you are out of the city. The park itself has a large grassy area, a basketball court and a play area. There are also some benches that overlook the Fox River. It is a nice place to relax, very secluded from the surrounded area.

This is one of my favorite places to walk or bike to during the Summer. There is a large playground, a basketball court, sheltered area for events and activities, and it's next to the Fox River, so it's great place to fish as well. I love sitting next to the river and relax, watching ducks and geese and once in a while watch eagles fly around.

Nice little park with a great playground, and a short walking trail. It's nice scenery being down in a ravine.

Its a nice place you can go to and enjoy a good amount of different activities. For instance there I a wooded trail you can walk on, a river to fish from or bring your boat and take a calming stroll down the river. There is a play ground and a pavilion, enough space to run around and play a few different games.

Amazing park @ Tallulah Park actually!
Only complaint is the windfall (naturally felled tree) blocking the pedestrian foot path from Tallulah Park down to the river front.
