Schenectady Municipal Parking Garage

Free garage parking on weekends and show performances at Proctors. Nice garage one block from Proctors Theater.

They're open way late. If you're using it to go to the movies, make sure you get the cashier to validate your parking ticket right after you purchase your movie ticket.

Arrive after 5pm during the week, leave after 8pm or watch a movie at bowtie and parking is free. I'm sure there are other places that validate parking.

LAZ parking attendants are very friendly and knowledgeable. Especially Tammy.

Neat parking space, somehow free when there is a show at the nearby theater. The bar was up .

Anyway: if you park there while going at the theater do your best to find a spot as close as possible to the exit, so to avoid all the traffic

LAZ Corporation Sucks, if you are a monthly parker by Proctors. LAZ sells spaces out before monthly business parking users arrive. All they have to say is "tuff luck." It wasn't like that before Mr. Manbun, the guy who talks like he has marbles in his mouth, started working as the lot attendant there. They have no respect for the business that pay a lot for parking for their employees.

Don't bring a nice car to this parking lot either. You are sure to get serious damage from kids and careless adults who fling their doors opened after failing to properly center their vehicle in a spot. If you stay late at work and theater or other event parkers come in, you are bound to get doored.

The same thing happens at the parking garage.
