First timer visit on a family members recommendation. Four star food and service so that is impressive. Five stars for the gal who greeted and seated our seven member party. She was super nice beyond what you can reasonablly expect these days. The french toast was good. The italian toast, bacon and egss were also solid. The standout was the potatos served with the eggs. Cooked to perfection and tasty to boot. Everyone enjoyed the food. The coffee was just okay but it was hot. My only objection was that the place had a smell to it that indicated it might not be regularly cleaned. My wife noticed it as well. Still, in an era where a good breakfast place is increasingly hard to find we overlooked this and the greeter and the food made up for it. Check it out for yourself.

This place is a hidden jem, its one of my favorite places to get breakfast. The atmosphere is casual, the waiter/waitress are so friendly and the food always hits the spot. The big breakfast is my favorite, but anything they serve you won't lose.

Great breakfast, best home fries I've ever had! Can't beat the prices. Hole in the wall kinda place but the staff is amazing and I doubt you'll find a better breakfast in Schenectady.

When you have a taste for breakfast and McDonald's stops serving breakfast 😋. It hits the spot. Nice and hot.

Turkey Club was excellent, sweet potato fries perfectly crispy and tasty, but to top it all off were the home made pickles!
Lot of good home made foods!

Everything was absolutely delicious but, those biscuits and gravy are by far the best I've ever had!

Best breakfast in Schenectady and possibly the capital district. Only complaint is that I didn't find this place sooner. Wow!

Great food when Lorenzo is cooking, my wife and I are regulars and have never had a problem with staff or the quality of our food. The waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating and even when they are busy they are sure to make sure we know the wait time. We can’t wait to see what they do with the place next as it is under new management and being upgraded. As long as they keep the current cook, we will be lifelong patrons! There are not too many places left in Schenectady so I’m glad to see a great small business withstand everything that’s gone on the past few years! Great Job Guys!

Stopped in at noon on Sunday. It was quite busy but there were efficient at moving people through and I we'll see it in less than 5 minutes. There are all day breakfast menu caused me problems and deciding what to have. I settled on cheddar broccoli soup and a cheeseburger. The soup was superb with large pieces of broccoli and a creamy, tasoup broth. The Burger was cooked just right, nice and juicy, and very tasty. I also tried their homemade chips which were a nice tasty change. I would highly recommend this place and will hopefully visit again soon.

I had biscuits w sausage gravy, eggs over easy and a side of homemade hash. Everything was delicious and service was great.

This was our second visit to Cafe. It was as good as our first. Service was good, food was excellent. Fresh, hot, abundant and delicious. Penne Alfredo with Sausage...Sausage and Peppers !

It was a quaint and simple eatery..great service..it was only 1 waitress at the time but she did great..she didn't seem overwhelmed or anything..the food was really good..especially the home fries and grits( usually grits are a hit or miss..)

Food was prompt and tasty. Service was excellent.

we were in a hurry in schenectady .. I have been in the restaurant business for . years.....amazing food. great service .. and prices were reasonable ... I met the owner .We went to the same high school , and knew the same people. .Now I have a place to Brag about.....and he offers catering services for special functions..THe end of a Great month.

Brought most of my kids and their others. 10 people in total. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Ray was a very attentive wait person.

OMGGGGGGG... I love this place! Me and my bestie/sister eat here all the time! This homemade cornbeef hash🤦🏽‍♀🤦🏽‍♀🤦🏽‍♀ love it. It there takes me back to the Bronx. And the waiter's,cook an ppl there in general are awesome
