The Kitchen Buffet at Vernon Downs

Again I had the pleasure of going to the Buffet again today at Vernon Downs i’m still impressed with how they’ve cleaned it up and brought their menu up. Food was delicious as always and I had the opportunity to taste a couple of new things one the raspberry vinaigrette or was it strawberry delicious no matter white and a new rice absolutely scrumptious my hats are off to the chef and to the wonderful waitresses. Everybody is just so pleasant there. I look forward to my next visit again I think it’s.awesome a good bang for your buck

Been coming to hotel and buffet for 15+ years. Everything is getting tastier. The waitresses are excellent. Keep up the good work

I attended the brunch this past Sunday. The sausage gravy was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best I have ever eaten! The new chef recommended I try and it did not disappoint. He was energetic and passionate. The hash brown were a home run also. They must be making big changes- you can definitely taste the difference!

I was hesitant to pay $20 for the buffet after reading the reviews… luckily they are doing $5 Tuesday Buffet (Fall 2023) and for $5 there is literally no way to be disappointed! Had a great 4pm meal and was full until lunch the next day.

Sunday brunch was very good and we'll worth the price.
Great carved ham, shrimp, chicken marsala, many breakfast items plus dessert. Can't beat it and everything tasted good, would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this buffet! Not only was the service amazing but the food was too... Chef Nick has done it! You struck gold when you hired chef Nick Vernon downs!
