Edit: after shopping here as well as other record stores more often I have to admit his prices are very comparable to anywhere else. I happened to be comparing one album that just so happened to be very cheap at one store while being a little more than usual at cd cafe, this made the price seem way higher when in reality it was priced right.Prices also depend on the genre. Some stores have really good 90s records, another will have great classic rock or jazz. I found a Herbie Hancock Blue Note tone poet cheaper than anywhere else on the internet let alone a store. Fun store to do some digging at.

Owner is super knowledgeable and both he and his wife are friendly and welcoming. Tons of great stuff here, both new and used. Lots of rare stuff, too. Well organized and not cluttered, though the walkway is narrow. Visit this place!

My first time in this store and it was great!! The owner was funny and engaging I picked up a CD I've been looking for for quite some time. The inventory is extensive and saw albums that I couldn't believe were available. It's really nice to find a place like this I'll certainly be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone of any age who likes music 🎵👍👍

A somewhat hidden jem! I had the distinct pleasure of meeting with the owner and his lovely wife today after finding several hard to find records in their extremely well organized shop. If you are in town, I highly recommend you pay them a visit, because you will be sure to find something on your wishlist! Many of the albums are cleaned with an ultrasonic record washer before getting a new record sleeve and plastic outer sleeve, and every record I pulled was in VG+ or better condition. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

My favorite record store. Everytime we visit Corning we make sure to stop by and buy a vinyl, there's always something you like. Gives off, as I quote the owner, a very nyc record store vibe lol. Tiny place stacked head to toe with vinyl, cd's, games. Too cool. Love u CD cafe.

This is a real cool store! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon it when we were hanging out one day and it's pretty awesome! The owner was really nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend if you enjoy old school games, or records, check it out!

Owner was very helpful and gave us some input on the CDs and store in general. Great variety of vinyls, CDs, and other things. We’ll definitely come back! Best local place to find vinyls and CDs!!

This place is absolutely incredible. I will be returning when I get a worthy record player. They don't sell record players, yet, but the guy who runs the place says he would like to get some soon. CD Cafe has first press records in excellent condition, and albums that I have heard of, but never seen in person before. Such a fantastic little shop

Owner was super chill, I was new to vinyl and he gave me some great tips, even let my friends and I try out our records in store. Huge selection of great music and sweet retro games. I don't usually write reviews for the places I visit, but my experience was so beyond amazing I can't help but sing its praises. If I could rate higher I would.

The guy who owns it goes on some wild conspiracy theories. But he has any music you want, and has a good selection of vinyl and vintage games at pretty good prices. Thinking about it the conspiracy talk make the experience really worth it. 10 out of 10.

I come to Corning twice a year and this is always a stop for us! Went again last night and was able to find lots of great vinyl. Owner is great, you can tell he genuinely loves music! Can’t wait to come back in June!

Omg. This place has everything. It depends how much want to dig. The owner is very knowledgeable and reasonable to the market value. Cd Cafe has great deals and the owner is always willing to work with you. Highly recommended 👌

Terrific owner, very knowledgeable into what he has to sell. I first met him when I posted music/videos to sell, and got a fair price. I then visited CD Cafe and he has quite a collection of everything of music to videos, including the electronic to play them on. Definitely a place to check out & buy from.

Engaging small business owner who cares about his clients, community and, of course, his music. Wonderful sense of humor and inviting atmosphere, this is a place to camp out for a while, listen and get great deals on timeless titles. They just don’t make ‘em like CD cafe anymore.

Always something interesting, won't find a better place anywhere else around. Owner is a genuine guy, he can seem a little intimidating at first but everyone there has always been very respectful as well as helpful even to newbys like myself :-) if you've never been GO you might find something you weren't expecting to find

Knick knacks, CDs, old video games, and vinyl, all in one convenient place at a good price.

Small but surprisingly diverse selection of video games, retro and new. Great for local collectors not looking to travel. Not a music collector, but if I were, the selection would probably amaze me.
