Oconto Dockside

I live in Germany and every time I come home to Wisconsin, I love to try the local restaurants. The Dockside team has “nailed it” on the drinks and food. The Bloody Mary was nearly a meal in itself. I still decided on a burger and fries. Boy was I not disappointed! Had it with cheese, mushrooms, and bacon. Einfach Lecker! Darn close to saying it’s was the best burger I’ve ever had. Not kidding. Cooked right, size right, juiciness right! I hope you’ll still be around the next time I’m home!

The BEST Fish fry in Wisconsin. You won't find better. The breading on the fish is perfect. The tartar sauce tastes homemade. The breaded fries are delicious. Also, good Bloody Mary's. Going back this Friday for the third time in a row. The perch is that good!

Food and service were superb! I highly recommend the corned beef egg rolls for an appetizer and make sure to get the mashed potato pancakes as your side! So yummy 😋 Great views of Lake Michigan! They do have gluten free options as well.

Run by a knowledgeable manager and a delightful staff. The food is by far the best on the bay. Best burger I can remember eating in years. The steaks and specials are always amazing. You cannot go wrong. This is my go to place to eat on Green Bay. 10/10 huge plus that it is at one of the nicest boat launches on the bay too. If you’re hungry and in the Oconto you area you’re missing out if you don’t stop here.

Katlin, you rock…never stop moving yet make all feel welcome! Scratch kitchen. Do you want more? We were here on Thursday. Tony had the meatloaf, garlic mash, mushroom gravy and asparagus. I had the seafood quesadilla with fresh house salad. Both OMG delicious!!! People are WELCOMING and FRIENDLY! One of my favorite places to go! Thank you for an excellent lunch (so much to take home, it will be another meal for both of us). Talk to Katlin and she will mix an amazing Irish maid cocktail. She’s an artist with her imaginative and delicious cocktails!

Great place to eat! Such a nice presentation and portions. A lot of choices and food is freshly made. Service was very attentive and nice. Very recommended if you’re visiting

This is american resturants in fine eventhoug they have queadilla. I would say the food is fantastic. If you are around this area, this resturent should be must try. The enviroment/atmosphere is so nice that it is right a park/harbour. You will enjoy your time in harbour them you enjoy your food. The food amount is so good, that one person might not finish it. Free parking. A+ Grade Resturent. Thank you for making my afternoo so enjoyable.

When ever we eat at the dockside it is delicious! Just finished eating the Mother’s Day buffet here and it was deliciously amazing again. Everything was perfect.
I loved the salad and the bread rolls, I did not have the breakfast items but other people did and said it was so good! Deliciously tender juicy New York strip roast, Juicy tender ham, Jumbo shrimp, juicy broasted chicken.I Love the Mac & cheese and stuffing! I did not have the corned beef or pork because I didn’t have any more room in my tummy lol but oh my goodness everything that I did eat was cooked to perfection.And the desserts!!

Wonderful place to eat. Service was fantastic, and my portion was so huge, I'll be eating leftovers for the next several meals.

Great service, good views, and accomodating for people who are gluten free. Fish tacos were good, and the baked haddock was worth it! Just let them know and they'll let you know your options. Husband loved the schnitzel, hefeweitzen, and the chicken & spatzle soup. All in all a great experience.

UPDATE:
we drove all the way back, over 7 hours, just because we couldn't stop thinking about how good the food was. Second time and even more impressed! We're already planning another trip back just to eat.

I don't even have words! This place was FABULOUS! the food was beyond great. Portions are falling off the already large plates and the prices can not be beat. Right across from the water it's perfect. No cheese curds left which is sad butttt everything was well worth it!

It's completely worth the slight detour! Large portions at a very fair price. The food was delicious. It's definitely a stop on the North Shore trips going forward. Off the lake/bay with great views.

Our appetizers and drinks were perfect! The views are great, the atmosphere was perfect and we'll definitely be back when we return to the area.

This place is amazing! We shows up with no reservations. They had one table outside and happily accommodated us. The services was great, food awesome and prices reasonable. My only complaint is that I live to far away to visit more often.

My personal favorite, the fish tacos! And the views that can be taken in while dining as well. Enjoy a walk on the Oconto Breakwater park before or after your meal as well.

I was looking for a good quality dinner place when I was visiting the area, and this was IT!! Everything was on par: friendly professional staff, the quality of drinks and food, and the ambience. Highly recommend!

Friday night, no reservation, fairly busy, immediate seating, wonderful food & service. Will definitely be going back.

We were checking out a dock. Stop in, and we love this place. I had ribs and fries. And my honey had an excellent burger.

Absolutely fantastic establishment; polite and professional wait staff, and cooks/chefs that ask for feedback on their dishes. Food is excellent and you'll be hard pressed to actually be able to finish an entire meal in one sitting, so you definitely get your money's worth.
