Schenectady Habitat Restore

I decided to buy used furniture instead of new ones and came across this store. I spent no more than $420 on a dining table with 6 chairs, a couch, 2 long bureaus, a computer desk and an armoire. The furniture are in excellent shape and beautiful. They don’t do delivery, but they had contacts of people who did. I contacted Robert of Man With A Van and he gave me a reasonable price. I’m very satisfied with my furniture and the customer service. I will be returning when I may need something else and I also recommend this furniture store to anyone reading this review.

You guys remembered the exact piece I was interested in when I came in for the second time today, and the price could not have been better! I gave it a new look after bringing it home. Great service & great store as always. Thank you so much!!

I didn't find what I needed but they had a little of everything. Some very nice pieces of furniture. Really cute end tables and such. I actually had to hold back from buying something.

I was shocked at what nice things were available at the Schenectady Habitat Restore! It was quality, functional items that still had a lot of life! I found the perfect size table that was within my budget! The condition and quality were amazing!

Decent selection of items at a good price. I purchased a used dryer about 5 years ago that is still kicking and in good shape.

We recently purchased a washer, which unfortunately we had to return because it would only run hot water. They were great about taking the return and we're upfront at the time of purchase, stating they plug the machines in to see if they work, but don't hook them to water.

Love this place!! Always something good for home improvements or furniture needs at great prices! Wonderful organization as well! They do amazing things to help family's live in their own homes. Often the folks are becoming homeowners for the first time in their entire family for generations.

Can be hit or miss if you need assistance in pricing...but an excellent range of products and reasonable prices. Shop regularly and the ubder/ over pricing evens out. It us all fir anninoortant cause, right?! Can say, I'd gone in numerous times over summer. Always asked price on an item. Nobody knew...or really cared. Went in one rainy afternoon. A busy but gracious gentleman assisted. Gave detailed photos. Stated a price. It began pouring rain...when I didn't want to carry merchandise out. I said, yes...mind if I wait inside until rain eases.Gracious. Turns out my purchase was easily worth 27 times the value if what I paid. It was limited edition..with value only increasing. An asset to my house. I try to shop here once a week. You never know from day to day. Albany may have mire..but pricing is higher. You must negotiate. Schenectady moves the merchandise tokeep available floor spaces..and makes is affordable to all.

We donated furniture, we have also obtained great stuff over the years. Good organization, good people, good buys.

We bought a almost Brand new dryer here that has worked great for us! The people are very helpful and friendly. We did have to look around the whole store to find what we wanted though.

A great organization that does so much for families and the community. They also have the Habitat Restore and they have wonderful things to buy for the house, anything you can think of! Beautiful furniture for sale!

How can you dislike a place that helps keep things out of the dump. Negotiable, well stocked, better furniture selection compared to the albany location.

Friendly and helpful staff, bought an amazing pair of leather chairs, the whole building was filled with cool vintage furniture and fixings.

Volenteered 10 hrs there they sell a lot for cheap. more iteams than I knew about before! Would recommend goes to a great cause!

Got a great lamp and plant stand. Smaller than the Albany store, but nice stuff
