Alvin and his crew created the kitchen we wanted right to the details. His crew gave 110% on the details even adjusted our outlets to match the evenly very respectful and professional. I highly recommend them!!! I posted a before and after awesome job !!!!

Central Cabinets is amazing! We talked to several cabinetry providers. In the end, we decided to go with Central Cabinets because of their strong expertise in design and measurement. We were remodeling our very small kitchen in our co-op apartment and did not have a lot of experience in maximizing small spaces. We were very apprehensive about finding the right partners to help us remodel our kitchen. We hired Alvin and Sonny. Their design expertise was invaluable, and they took the time to explain the process and all of the considerations we needed to be aware of. Even when our cabinets arrived damaged, they supported us by quickly reaching out to the manufacturer and getting us replacement cabinets quickly! They made a stressful situation easy to navigate. Thank you, Alvin and Sonny, for helping us create our dream kitchen.

Central Cabinets is absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend them enough! My husband and I hired Alvin and Sonny to do a complete kitchen renovation for our Coop apartment. As we are not very knowledgeable about construction/renovations, we were looking for someone who could really walk us through every step of the process.

We visited several other places before finding Alvin and Sonny, and we had the same experience at all of them – they were willing to help us only with PART of the process (they could order the cabinets for us, but we had to hire a different contractor, or get the countertops from someone else, etc.). Alvin and Sonny took care of everything for us – and they did a phenomenal job with all of it!

Sonny completed the design of our kitchen. We were hoping for a sleek, modern design and he absolutely delivered. Not only did he make sure to include everything we wanted, but he also had several fantastic suggestions that we never would have even thought of. We absolutely love the design – it is both functional and beautiful.

After the design phase, Alvin helped us to pick out all of the materials. He had great suggestions, and I really appreciated that he never pushed us or tried to upsell us. He was always completely honest with us about prices, and helped us to find exactly what we were looking for within our budget.

What I loved most about Alvin was how communicative he was with us. I have heard horror stories from friends about contractors who didn’t show up when they were supposed to and/or couldn’t be reached for questions/concerns. Alvin was literally the opposite. He was always available to talk to us. He gave us a timeline for completion of the project and did it in exactly that amount of time. His crew showed up every day and it was clear how hard they were working. He stayed in contact with us the entire time, calling us everyday to check how we were liking the results and to check with us about how we wanted certain things done. We really felt like we had control over every step of the process.

The final results were nothing short of spectacular. We LOVE our new kitchen! It is sleek and modern, just like we wanted and everything was put together beautifully. We are planning to do our bathroom next and we have already spoken to Alvin about starting it after the new year.

If you are looking for a great kitchen renovation, look no further. I cannot recommend Alvin and Sonny enough!

I had a great experience working with Sonny. He’s very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Sonny provided several options to redesign my kitchen and walked me through all scenarios. Sonny and Alvin were always welcoming and accommodating, especially while my toddler explored their showroom. I will definitely return for any future projects.

We have purchased cabinets twice from Central Cabinets. Once for our apartment and second time around for our house. Both times they were very helpful in working with us in selecting and designing what we wanted. Delivery and installation was fast and smooth.

Sonny and Alvin were very helpful for me to pick out kitchen cabinets and to get them installed. I recently renovated my kitchen and went through multiple places before I picked out cabinets from Central. Sonny and Alvin were very easy to deal with to get a kitchen designed, get quality cabinets picked out and ultimately to get them installed. Really they took a lot of them guess work out for me and pointed me in the right direction. The cabinets look great and their installers were really nice, professional and timely. The price was reasonable and very transparent from Alvin. Totally recommend using Sonny and Alvin for picking out cabinets and install.

Alvin and team were amazing. The quality of their work is exceptional - never cutting corners and making it easy for me and my husband. My small bathroom was a rush job due to returning back to the city after pandemic. He climbed major obstacles to get the job done. Not only did he come in on time - the bathroom looks amazing. I look forward to working with them again on my next project.

Simply fantastic; I cannot recommend Alvin and Sonny highly enough. I strongly value professionalism and attention to detail, and found those in spades at Central Cabinets. We used them for a kitchen remodel in our NYC coop in 2018, which went through several significant revisions, and Alvin and Sonny were unfailingly attentive, swiftly communicative through phone and email, and honest about the options we had within our budget. If I remember correctly, Sonny came in person no less than three times to ensure that the measurements were precise. (I was slightly less keen on their installers, and recommend considering using a separate contractor once the pieces are delivered.) I felt prompted to write this review 4 years later after someone looked at our kitchen and wanted to copy it for their own apartment, whom I sent without hesitation to Central Cabinets. Alvin and Sonny are rare treasures, and deserve your business.
