Country like feel so close to town - very peaceful

Nice little park full of wildflowers, birds, and other wild life. Walked the trail with 2 toddlers and a 5yo and it was the perfect length and slow enough incline for them to learn with. They loved looking for birds and bugs, and it was a dreary day so a butterfly even stopped right on one of them. Eventually I got it on a rock and it stayed there while they took turns holding it. Found some fairy (cicada) wings all over the trail as well. Definitely recommend, especially if you have a whimsical imagination! (There are no play structures, playground equipment or restrooms here).

A nature trail park - no play structures or facilities (like fountains or bathrooms). Seems ok for adults and walking dogs - not suitable for strollers. Mostly shaded - do bring bug spray. Not very frequented place.

A great park for walking, there are a few miles of distinct trails that are a difficulty of maybe a 2/5. In some spots there are surprising stairs which might cause problems if you have a disability that keeps you from climbing them, but it's nice and easy otherwise.

The downside to the park is that it's nothing but a parking circle, two benches, and trails. No restrooms or water fountains to be found.

There's no swing sets or anything like that. There's a couple of benches, and just enough room for a few cars to park. It is basically a pit stop for you & your horse. It's for horse riding, but there are plenty of joggers and dog-walkers that frequent this spot. Nothing pretty or fancy, or super entertaining, just a spot to stop for a second & regroup.
