I worked with Dustin to quote the project. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to answer every question I had in an easy to understand way and put my mind at ease with such a large purchase.

They removed my existing shingles and installed new ones. They also took the time to replace any wood that had water damage and updated a few things to comply with today's roofing standards (flashing, adding cutouts for gable and soffit venting). Employees were friendly and professional. All materials were hauled away and the yard was cleaned up before they left. Entire project was finished in a day.

This is our second time utilizing SPS Roofing and we couldn't be happier about it (SPS Roofing did a commercial flat roof for my husband and me in 2014). We got a quote from Nick to remove all of the gutters and downspouts from our home, as we had just completed installing a French drain. Nick knew that we were anxious to beat the snow and ice, so, although incredibly busy at the time, Nick worked us in to his schedule. Trevor and Todd arrived at about 5 pm and worked on the house until 10 pm that night, then came back the next morning to finish it up. Trevor and Todd were simply incredible; they went out of their way to make the remaining fascia look great and secured it extremely well. They even found some fascia that was originally done quite poorly and made that right as well. It is our experience that the larger companies won't make time for the small jobs and the way they communicate that to you is to either bid a crazy number for the job or simply never get back to you; in a very good way, SPS Roofing isn't like those other large companies. I simply can't say enough great things about SPS Roofing; they've got us hooked.

In January 2014 I was 1000 miles away from Appleton, WI, where I needed a new roof installed on my commercial building. Based on online reviews I narrowed my search to three contractors, so I sent emails to all three requesting they inspect the roof and give me a bid for full replacement. Of the three contractors I emailed AND called, only two responded with interest – SPS Roofing and another big name roofing contractor in the area. Both interested contractors emailed me back and wanted to set a date for roof inspection and bid, but ONLY SPS Roofing followed through (I called the other contractor back several times, but they never responded – trust I’ve been around long enough to know that was their way of telling me that they weren’t interested in such a small job, but I FRICKEN despise when contractors act that way – why can’t they just have a pair and respectfully communicate that they simply don’t have the time and or manpower for your job?). Anyway, SPS Roofing followed through – THEY WERE THE ONLY ONE OF THREE CONTRACTORS TO FOLLOW THROUGH; it wasn’t at all coincidental that the online reviews about the other two contractors showed occasional issues with follow through. It was the absolute middle of winter in Wisconsin, but within a week Erik from SPS Roofing had inspected my roof – inside and out – and had a written bid in my hands. On 17 February 2014 SPS Roofing and I entered into a contract for them to replace my roof with a 60 mil reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin roof system as soon as conditions were acceptable. SPS Roofing began work the first week of April and was completed one week later. During the old roof tear off SPS Roofing stayed in very good contact with me about some additional issues they had found (not surprisingly much of the old insulation was destroyed from having been wet for so long) and offered some reasonable alternatives to keep the quality high without breaking the bank. On 15 April I paid SPS Roofing the balance owed and I was happy to have a new roof that didn’t leak. OK, for anyone who’s read this far, you must wonder why it’s taken me exactly two years to write a review? Well, quite simply, I don’t trust anyone, so I had decided at the time I entered into a contract to wait exactly two years to write a review to see if there were any issues with the roof and to see how the contractor followed through with their work and warranty. The fact of the matter is that I DID have a few very small leak issues (a few lightly water-stained spots in ceiling tile to that were the result of the building settling, NOT with the roofing job) after the installation and EACH AND EVERY TIME Nick from SPS Roofing responded to my concerns and had someone over to my building to inspect the problem within 24 hours of my call. Nick made me feel completely at ease during the past two years, because he said – and more importantly did – offer to literally spend hours upon hours to find the problem EVEN if the problem wasn’t related to his roofing job. At one point - when we didn’t yet know that the leaks were a result of cracks in two block walls that were opening due to settling – Nick even offered to send his crew, plug the drain holes and flood the roof to ensure that the roof wasn’t the issue. Needless to say, I was very happy with the responsiveness of SPS Roofing prior to and during the new roof replacement, but it was, and is, SPS Roofing’s SERVICE AFTER THE SALE that caused me to spend this much time writing a review for them. It’s extremely hard finding contractors who will do the job right the first time, it’s even MORE DIFFICULT finding contractors who will follow up with excellent and timely support after the sale, but that’s EXACTLY what I’ve found in SPS Roofing. To Nick and Erik of SPS Roofing – thank you for being so patient with me over the past two years and for being damn good salt-of-the-earth human beings. Very respectfully and sincerely, Joe Czarnik, Colonel, US Army (Retired)

Charged me $500 to come caulk some flashing around our chimney to repair a leak and stated they told me it would be a $500 "emergency call" fee, when all that was stated was that the repairs could cost about $500, which at the time, I did not know the extent of what would need to be done. They arrived in an unmarked car, no uniforms on, and were here 20 minutes, caulked some things and left, and sent me an invoice for $500. Not impressed.
