Must visit! Want authentic, phenomenal food at reasonable prices? This place it is. Upscale food, fantastic flavors, and great friendly service.

I was so impressed, this was my first time and we stumbled upon it. The quality of food for the price was outstanding. It’s an intimate spot that’s decorated beautifully. The family next to us was their third time there in a month.
The owner Adan, is very warm and welcoming. He’s been doing this for over a decade and has lived in Greece and was taught 1:1 by grandmother.

We had two appetizers, sangria, vegetarian moussaka and chicken gyro sandwich. Of course we went home with baklava. Will be returning.

We have a wonderful and delicious meal tonight. Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner and server were attentive.

The owner was kind enough to give us a fried eggplant/zucchini appetizer and a fried dough dessert. 😋

Great Greek food and whine, the home made dolmas were impressive, the main dishes were substantial and full of flavor. Loved the lemon potatoes and the refreshing tatziki. Cozy place inviting and friendly staff. Will go back.

Brought some family from out of town for dinner, and we had a wonderful experience. The owner and staff were so welcoming and attentive! The ambience in the restaurant is lovely. The food was delicious, and flavorful. Big portions! Our family member from the West Coast loved the lamb dish. We will definitely be back.

The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. My lunch special which included a lamb gyro and homemade French fries was only $11.50. The appetizers were also delicious. We will definitely be back.

What a great lil spot for greek food!! It is a small cafe style place and the owner treats everyone like family. We had a shrimp skewer over a bed of rice which was a special and a lamb & chicken slouvlaki combination dinner. Both were amazingly delicious. We also had the homemade sangria which was sooo good and ended the evening with tha baklava and that was very good as well.

Needed a quick lunch decided to stop by this place and I’m glad I did. It’s small but service was good. I got the lunch special even on a Sunday which was a sandwich with fries for 11.50. I ordered the chicken sandwich and also the lamb gyro both were very good. The fries are homemade there and were really good as well. I also ordered the lemon chicken soup which good as well. I’m definitely coming back to this place.

After five or so visits so far, I have come to really love this chef-owned and operated new restaurant in New Rochelle. The grilled Octopus appetizer is a very large portion for the price (nearly twice the size of the Greek place down the road but for $2 less!) while being perfectly cooked and seasoned with olive oil, lemon, and fresh herbs. Delicious! I’ve twice tried the daily fish special entree - a full sized grilled Bronzino - and both times is was very fresh, flavorful, and flakey just as it should be. The “Poseidon Thalassina” seafood combination platter is another favorite dish. All the dips we have tried so far have been excellent. Love their pita bread too - flame cooked and served hot right off the grill. Nice atmosphere with several hand painted murals of Greece and similarly themed music playing overhead. They also now serve alcohol and have a decently varied wine selection, several novelty beers, and both red and white homemade Sangria. Just a short walk from the MetroNorth train station on the same street as Posto 22 and Wooden Spoon. On par with Dubrovnik’s for quality, yet more casual and quaint. Service is very attentive as it’s rarely crowded with only recently opening and still relatively undiscovered. Highly recommend.

Very nice and cozy greek restaurant right in New Rochelle. The owner and server were very nice. The food was delicious. I had the lamb gyro platter and it was very filling. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely go again.

Cozy place with amazing food and excellent service. I had a lamb and chicken souvlaki combo platter, and it was just “wow”.

Our family goes here regularly. We LOVE the authentic food. The owner is generous and always accomodating to our baby. If you've ever visited Greece, and miss it terribly, you'll love this place. It's the atmosphere more as well as the food

Restaurants that can pull off take out as well as they do their dine in experience are rare to nonexistent. Food is fresh, consistent and just plain good. Owners do not cut corners on quality. Can't say enough about how amazing they are. Go with the safe and simple or feel free to venture to try things you may be unfamiliar with . . . .it is all just soooo good. Don't forget the sangria! Or the lemon potatoes! Or the hummus! The lamb! The gigantes! The tzaziki!!

Ordered first time online and picked up. the food was great - especially the lamb souvlaki with Greek style fries - flat lemon flavored potato slices and greek salad. the lamb was cooked to perfection and was tender so it surpassed my expectations. only place for improvement would be to use higher quality tomato’s in the salad.

Ordering online was also great and allowed for much more customization of the dishes than expected.

We stopped in to Pappous & Yia Yia's on our way through town, and I'm glad we did. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The owner was very involved with making sure we were enjoying our experience and was extremely friendly.

Was having a rough day and didn’t feel like cooking lunch. This place absolutely hooked it up on the lunch special. They were kind enough to do a plate instead of a sandwich. For $12.50 (after tax), I scored a delicious plate of gyros, rice pilaf, and grilled pita (and tzatziki!) it was delicious, portion was great, and it helped me feel better. Would be awesome if the owners add this “bowl” option to your lunch special deals. I hope it was not a one-off, as I will definitely be back.

Amazing Food! We had the calamari, eggplant spread, and meatballs starters. And for dessert, loukoumades. All delicious. Great atmosphere and the owner treated us like family. Definitely coming back.

Great taste and reasonable portions. I’ve been here 3 times (takeout) and am always impressed by the consistency in flavor and portion and presentation. Love their round fries, lemon potatoes and gyros.

This place is simply great!
We went for lunch on a Sunday, which made parking a breeze and no cost. The waiter was so nice and had just the right touch and level of attentiveness - readily available without rushing, giving ample time to review the large enticing menu and delivering with care.
Hearing our brief conflict at ordering time about which spreads to include in the cold platter, he surprised and delighted all by bringing 4 rather than the 3 described, thoughtfully separated. When we hesitated at white or whole wheat pita, he volunteered a combo, which was indeed perfect. One in our group was gluten free so we requested additional cucumbers for dipping and the plate delivered was ample!
Everyone in our group chose from the varied yummy lunch menu. I loved the shrimp Greek salad!
All the portions were generous, the food fresh and delicious!!
And, when dessert rolled around, without asking we were treated to baklava with yogurt and berries!!
Don’t think too long about supporting this unusually awesome restaurant. If you show up you’ll be treated to unusually great food and service!!

Had a fantastic lunch here. We were pleasantly surprised that they offer lunch specials on Sunday.

The food was excellent and the service was great. Dips, pita, gyro, fries and salad were all top notch, and homemade hot sauce was a nice touch. My coffee was delicious too.

Our server was attentive and flexible for my brother who is Celiac.

Wonderful Greek food, their platters are excellent and the meat is marinated to perfection. The lemon potatoes are out of this world. A wonderful addition to the New Rochelle food scene . Highly recommend.
