Great restaurant in a small town.
Service staff was friendly and attentive.
I liked their automatic service charge on bills above $75.
This was a great place for us to grab a late breakfast on the long drive to Niagara.
Food was good not spectacular but it hit the right spot. The beer batter haddock was really good out of everything ordered.

To be fair, we walked in about an hour before closing. The staff were unbelievably waiting and ready to serve us. We did end up having an issue with a couple of the dishes we ordered. The manager in charge that night went above and beyond to correct it. Nothing that was their fault. I will definitely make it a habit to visit here on a regular basis. Food, service, and atmosphere were all phenomenal. They were no hurry to get us out. They just prepared for closing around us. Those kids all deserve a raise. I highly recommend this place. Cozy.

Great old school family restaurant with great food and big portions. The selection is big enough to satisfy everyone and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go there again on my next visit to the USA.

Came here for breakfast, and was very pleased with everything thing we ordered. Staff was very attentive and accommodating, we ordered blueberry pancake meal with home fries and sausage. Everything was tasted good the sausage stood out to me the most. Different flavor and texture then used to but very good. We also ordered an omelet that was large in size and packed full! Overall we enjoyed everything we ordered. The next day we were leaving so we ordered breakfast togo. Silverlake is definitely worth eating at if in the area!

Very American atmosphere restaurant. The food was tasty. We ordered Silverlake omelette and Philly omelette. Finished within 10 minutes!!!Mimosa above expectations! Just love it. Recommend this place to everyone!

Was real excited to see a Nostalgic Classic salad bar! fresh veggies with amazing potato salad, macaroni salad and cole slaw. Salad dressings we’re old favourites: French, Italian, Greek, blue cheese, etc. Boneless chicken wing appetizer was perfectly fried and used quality white meat. House made burger was fresh & meaty. Generous portions

Small town and great restaurant. We were traveling and honestly we went in on a new year when everything was closed. The food was great and service was amazing. The tall lean blond girl was brilliant and helped out. Would always suggest this place for quick bite. The lunch spread was great and good size portions.

Very homely restaurant with friendly, efficient waitstaff. The food was fairly priced and delicious! Cakes are sold whole or by slices from a vitrine at the entrance, and there is what had been a salad bar, now displaying cheeses for purchase. The bathroom is clean, and there is plenty of paved parking, including at an extension across Perry Avenue. In November 2021 Larry Sharpe stopped here during his campaign for NY Governor.

If you want to stop for a quick bite to eat that tastes amazing, this is the place to go! The food came out very quickly and tasted fresh. The atmosphere is homey, and the staff is friendly, positive, and considerate towards customers. Tables include a button to call someone over or ask for the bill. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. will be coming back !!

Good food, friendly and cheerful staffs, great variety in the menu. The chicken can be more tender but otherwise, it is juicy and has good flavor. Price is on the higher side, but so worth it. Would come back again.

Amazing food stop on the way from NYC to Toronto. The service is super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We order the Weck sandwich and the Garbage plate and it’s DELICIOUS

We stopped here for a bite on our way home from the park. It was great.
Our food was so good and came hot and fresh. The staff was nice and our waitress was right on top of everything. And if she wasn't, there was a button on the table for calling her. It went to a watch that she wore. We didn't need to use that though, she was very good.
This place was very clean and inviting. We will return.

Good family diner with a salad bar. We had the gyros and hot turkey sandwich which were both good. Their fries are delicious

Food is always on point, but maybe try not to go at the lunch rush. They let me go to the salad bar without extra charge. I couldn't tell you if that's typical or due to the special I ordered.

Edit: Yeah, if you order certain items, it comes with the salad bar. The last time I went, I got the spaghetti and meatballs, and that came with the salad bar. The server that evening was super fast and very attentive. I wish I had remembered her name.

Service EXTREMELY Fast service.. Friendly atmosphere.. Server was Very Nice... Best Manhatten Clam Chowder I ever had it actualy had Clams in it and yes I have ate clam chowder from many resturants especialy In Staten Island NY and in many other places.. Steak cooked perfectly, Eggs & French toast were very yummy....

Our first time stopping as we passed thru on our way to New Jersey. It was the best breakfast we have ever had. Waitress was very nice, very prompt. Wish we had this kinda of restaurant near us. Delicious 😋

Fantastic small town diner. The place was pretty packed when we were there but any place with food this good usually is during mealtimes. Nice well rounded menu with something for everyone. I will be visiting again!

We stop here for breakfast on our way through town from Buffalo! Great food and service!! We will go back again.

I have not been there in over 10 years. I'm glad to see all the changes. Food was great and so was service.
