Went to Average Joe's Hobby for a meet & greet with WEE hall of famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Great experience. The store is small but had some cool memorabilia and sports cards. This was their "grand opening" and I'm excited to see where they go from here.

This shop is a gem to the community. I will be a customer forever. I have been craving a hobby store like this for a long time, the owner is very laid back, and has created a space that's comfortable to hang out in, where everyone is welcome. There's a lot of really nice collectibles very reasonably price that span across several "genres" from pokemon, to sports cards, to funkos, wrestling figures to even handmade decked out vests. It's truly just a wonderful place

Went to New York earlier this year and stopped in this shop. The owners were extremely helpful, and even played a few games. The patrons seem livley and upbeat. Wish my town had a shop like this. I loved it and hope to go again someday!!!

Average Joe's Hobby is your one stop shop for just about what ever your heart desires. The owner Mat is one of the best people you can ever meet. Periodically they have celebrity meet and greets right in the store. They have had WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Former WWE SuperStar Heath Slater. Coming up on October 30th WWE Hall Of Famer The Godfather will be in store for a signing. Then, on Monday November 1st, Scott Schwartz from A Christmas Story and The Toy with Richard Pryor will be in store for a meet and greet.

It's more than a hobby shop though. It's a place where you can come, hang out, and meet interesting people. There is a game room in the back. There is plenty to see. And if there is something that you want or are interested in, don't be afraid to ask the owner. He will be more than happy to keep his eyes peeled.

Come for the goods.

Went here one time, owner was extremely cool, however he never answers the phone. I never know when he’s open, doesn't update his hours but has fair prices.

I grew up with the owner. I previously gave him a 5 star review after one visit. Wanted to show my support. I spent over $200 on that visit and placed a pre-order for a case of figures (also over $200). As of now I was supposed to have the figures over a year ago. The owner just gives me the run around. He always has an excuse and must think I’m a fool. He keeps promising a refund, but it never comes. I think he’s out of business now, but I won’t trust him again regardless.

Place is never open! Hours online are a joke, messaged them 3 times asking for hours no response, I finally go into try to sell cards and he’s not there, I am told to come back in a few hours, then another day I’m the afternoon then I wait almost a week until the day and time I’m told he will be there to just look at cards and he’s a no show. Terrible professionalism. Can’t make money if nobody knows when you’re open

Do Not do business with this place, the owner is a scam artist. This business is based on lies deception and untrustworthiness. How can you steal from people to make your business then over charge everyone to continue to be a crook

The owner refuses to pay my husband back and uses really inappropriate language - I’ll post the photo below. This is the type of owner running this shop. Be careful, hobby shops are suppose to be for kids and families- wouldn’t recommend this one to mine.

BUYER BEWARE! Complete scam of a owner. Took thousands of dollars from some of the best people in the business. If you buy anything just know you're supporting Grand Theft.

This business is selling stolen merchandise. The owner bought cards from a wholesaler on credit and now refuses to repay. Shame on you. You should do the right thing.

Owner is dishonest and owes me and my partner thousands of dollars for helping him get started. Completely untrustworthy.

Selling stolen goods issued on credit that were not paid for. I wouldn't trust a company run by someone with this kinds of ethics.
